Our Mostar tour will give you a great intro to Bosnian and Ottoman heritage, its medieval towns (Pocitelj, Mostar, Blagaj), stunning scenery (Buna River Spring, Neretva River), its people, customs, beliefs and, of course, gastronomy. Apart from being knowledgeable, our guides know all the ins and outs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and know how to avoid traffic jams on the borders and always choose the best possible routes for you so that you can maximize your stay in every destination. Also, we offer an option to visit Kravice Waterfalls (even swimming there if you like during summer months) on a revised itinerary with the medieval town of Ston stop, Kravice Waterfalls stop and Mostar town stop (choose option Kravice at checkout) Whichever option you choose: A (Stolac-Pocitelj-Blagaj-Mostar) or B (Ston-Kravice Waterfalls -Mostar) we are sure that you will fully enjoy your tour and will want to come back again and visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Itinerary
Pocitelj, Ottoman Empire's most southern trade outpost on Neretva river, which grew into a whole fortified town(still well preserved). Photo-stop and toilette break. For those who love to walk, it is possible to climb up to the medieval Watchtower -overlooking the whole area with the Neretva river gently bending underneath. 16.ct Mosque, Clock Tower, 17.ct middle School (medresse), Turkish Bath (hammam), Ottoman inn (Han) and Governor's house can still be visited while walking through Pocitelj's cobbled streets.
Blagaj stop includes visit to Buna blue river spring (fastest water flow in Europe), with 16.ct. Sufi Dervish Temple leaning over it! The photo of the spring and Temple is one of the most iconic photo-spots in all Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Let your driver/guide show you the centre of this historical town with stunning Ottoman 16.ct Horse-shoe arched Bridge, Bazaar street still offering same arts and crafts like hundreds years ago, Crooked Bridge, Tabija tower and Koski Bey Mosque. Learn about Mostar's golden era as well as about misfortunate troubled times of the 1990ies war You will have a chance to try Turkish style black coffee alongside Neretva River or to have lunch of selected Bosnian (Herzegovinian) specialties ("Chevapchichi u somunu" – minced meet in Pita bread with cream and onion) in family-owned traditional restaurants (at your own expense)
Viewpoint above Slano gives you breathtaking views of the Elaphiti islands archipelago as well as islands of Mljet and Lastovo in the distance - great photo-stop
Optional stop on Kravice Waterfall (if you choose it on a booking option -in which case we visit Ston-Kravice-Mostar instead of Pocitelj-Blagaj-Mostar) Kravice are stunning series of waterfalls on the River Trebizat, where our guests can walk along the waterfalls, or even have a swim in the summer months (in which case, bring your bathing suit and towel with you)

We recently took a private tour with Miho to Mostar, with stops at Kravice waterfall and Ston. Miho was a great guide for the day - we really appreciated all his local knowledge, humour and personal stories (thank you for the recipe too!). My partner lived in Bosnia as a child but hadn't been back to the country since 1992 - it made such a difference to have a guide who was so open and reassuring, it really removed any anxiety. The organisation and arranging of the tour was excellent. We kept great time but this was done without pressure, Miho was happy to tweak timings if it was helpful to spend a little more time in one of the places we stopped at. We got to Kravice in the mid-morning and we were able to avoid the arrival of larger groups. It was very special to spend time in such a beautiful place with only a handful of other people. When we got to Mostar, Miho introduced us to some of the key sites in the centre and it was really helpful to have his recommendations for places to eat either side of the river. It meant we made better use of the time: we were able to go in some shops and have a lovely lunch (cevapi and Bosnian coffee) next to the Neretva. On our journey back we stopped in Ston and got to see the saltworks and views of the medieval walls, it was awesome to hear some of the history. Thanks again for helping us have such a great day, Miho. We will certainly look at doing Doria tours again in the future.

From the outset Doria were really amazing! Josip was so helpful online when I made the first enquiry. In just a couple of emails he confirmed the booking as requested and without advance payment. The day before our trip, our driver Miho reached out to confirm all the details and the next day he arrived promptly with a clean and comfortable van, just for the two of us. Miho was an excellent driver and tour guide, explaining the places we were going to visit and the route we would take. He took time to show us around the ottoman village and the dervish house before moving on to Mostar. Miho was so friendly and chatty that we found many different things to talk about, which made the long journey very interesting. I would highly recommend a personal guided tour with Doria because they are very flexible and allow you to arrange the time as best suits you, allowing for toilet stops and leaving earlier if you require.

Our tour guide, Vincent, took us to Pocitelj, Kravice Falls and Mostar. The trip was easy, Vincent was informative and funny and we learned a lot about Bosnia-Herzegovina! His restaurant recommendation was delicious. This is money well spent! All logistics were taken care of!

Our guide Miho was fantastic! Miho called me the morning of the tour to let me know he was running 30 minutes late due to the company lot was locked to pick up the van… but don’t get me wrong… Miho made up the time! Miho took a short cut while in Bosnia and took a route we were not supposed to take to Mostar. Miho never made us feel rushed while we toured and told us to take our time at all the various stops we made. Miho was very knowledgeable of the history and very fluent in English. Miho was so professional he even returned back to our hotel to return an item my Wife left in the van. Mostar Bosnia is well worth the visit if you have extra time from Dubrovnik… a totally different vibe and experience and beautiful old town and bridge!
