Private Full-Day Guided Tour of Tijuana

Description
What makes this tour different is how much of Tijuana you actually get to experience. While many tours focus only on walking a small section of downtown, this experience is designed to take you beyond what’s reachable on foot. We combine walking with driving, allowing access to key locations that most tours simply don’t include. The itinerary was created by locals who understand the city’s flow and know how to move through it efficiently. This approach connects cultural landmarks, food stops, markets, and scenic locations that are often skipped by standard walking tours. Instead of following routes popularized by mass tourism or social media, the focus is on places with real local relevance—spots people in Tijuana actually visit. The result is a more complete, relaxed, and authentic experience that shows a broader side of the city without feeling rushed or repetitive.

We had a great tour in Tijuana with a lot of stories, culture and excellent local food. A special thank to Eric, our guide, who has shown us the place with the best Tacos and an extrordinary Cesar salad. We can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a bit of Mexican life.
We had a great time with our tour guide Chris. He was super informational and helpful. The birrias + churros we had were some of the best foods I’ve ever eaten in my life. I felt like the tour had a good pace to it, there was a great mix of food, history, and culture. The tequila was super fun too! We got to try a lot of flavors we never would have the opportunity to on our own. They were very accommodating to our vegan passenger, and they mentioned being able to accommodate to being gluten free too! This tour would be appropriate for people of most ages, it is not physically demanding and we weren’t in the sun too much. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking to check out TJ for a day, or booking with this company for a great memory.
Excellent experience!!! One guide and comfortable transportation all day. Our guide Erick was incredible. Stops modified to satisfy our needs, but also got to see all the sites in Tijuana. Food was amazing! Highly recommend!!
We had a fantastic experience with Baja Ride and Tours during our private tour of Tijuana. Our guide, Rodrigo, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He gave us a great mix of popular attractions, including the border wall, and authentic local experiences that we never would have found on our own—like the best birria tacos in town. Rodrigo shared interesting information about the city's history, culture, and hidden gems, making the tour both fun and informative. I was traveling with my elderly parents, and Rodrigo was especially thoughtful and accommodating of their needs, ensuring everyone was comfortable and able to enjoy the experience at their own pace. I highly recommend Baja Ride and Tours. Thank you, Rodrigo, for an unforgettable day!
We had a great day with Erik today. Had some amazing food. The Birria Tacos are not to be missed! The van was comfortable and we had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Erik showed us around several locations and explained a lot of history to us which was great. We had never been to Mexico before and this was a great introduction. We felt safe the whole time and had no issues. We walked over the border and back again, The entry was around 20-30 mins and the return only took 5 mins total.
My family and I did the full day Tijuana trip it was beyond amazing. Our tour guide Rodrigo did a phenomenal job showing us around Tijuana. He did not disappoint. Each stop had amazing food and drinks. The whole experience was superb and we recommend it
This tour was worth every single penny! From the very beginning, Rigo was funny, knowledgeable, and engaged. It felt like I was on a trip with a friend, not a tour guide. The food stops were absolutely phenomenal. He was flexible with the stops, allowing me to skip the ones I didn't want to go to, and added one I didn't want to miss. The conversation flowed easily and I learned so much about the history of the city. I traveled solo and never felt unsafe or awkward. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and this tour company. It was an AMAZING experience, especially for someone who hasn't been to Mexico in 24 years! He even gave me the best insider tips for getting across the border (both ways) and the pitfalls to watch out for. It was a wonderful day!
Chris gave us a wonderful tour of Tijuana. He explained the background of all the sights and was flexible when we asked to change the itinerary to add more opportunities for handicraft shopping.
Our guide Chris was great. He spent time telling us the history and taking us several places we never would have found on our own. We took us to several restaurants and rhe food was fabulous. I highly recommend
This was an interesting introduction to the city of Tijuana, including the old downtown, the beach area and a drive through the more upscale Zona Rio. We had 4 food stops, a tequila tasting and visited 2 museums, making for a full, fun day. Our driver, Denise, was a sweet conversationalist and could cross 3 lanes of busy traffic like a pro.
