We had a good day with our guide, Tomio. We could have taken public transportation but opted for taxi so we didn’t have to wait. Our guide has gotten us tickets for the Goryokaku Tower so we didn’t have to wait in line. The park and fort were very nice. We then headed to the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway but was too windy so we walked from the base across to several other city sites. We had a nice lunch at the Red Brick Warehouses. We saw a lot and had a nice day with Tomio.
We had a wonderful day with Tomio Y. It was so much fun to walk around the Morning Market and taste food samples. Tomio made it very easy for us to ride on public transportation by lending us an extra fare card to use. We saw a lot in a limited amount of time and visited the very best sites in Hakodate. We would highly to recommend Tomio to all visitors.
Very enjoyable and informative trip. Our guide MaiSon was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable, energetic, and professional. All of the temples were well worth going to and the buffet lunch was really great. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
Our guide was pleasant and flexible. We altered schedule so we could spend more time in a spot we really enjoyed. Tomio answered questions and gave overview but also gave freedom to explore on our own.
I am convinced that having so many photos taken in samurai costume at the Goryokaku was a great memory. If you ever come to Japan again, please contact me.
