Your private qualified Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor by A/C Vehicle at 7:00 AM to accompany you for a tour to Edfu. Once you have arrived in Edfu you will be transferred to visit this majestic temple which is dedicated to Horus the God of the Sky and Kings manship. According to Egyptian mythology it was the place where the falcon headed god Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.
After your visit we will break for lunch then journey onto Kom Ombo which is about a 45 minute drive. Now you have arrived in Kom Ombo you will be taken to see the beautiful Temple of Kom Ombo. This Temple stands on high ground which gives you a fantastic view of the River Nile. This Temple is different from other Temples as it has a double entrance which are dedicated to Horus the Falcon headed God and Sobek the Crocodile headed God of the Nile, fertility and military. After your visit at approx. 4.00 pm enjoy a relaxing and comfortable drive back to your Hotel in Luxor.

In Luxor we had a full day tour of the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Funeral Temple, Memnon, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. The guide told us in slow English in an easy-to-understand manner, and I also had several photos taken at exquisite angles. It was a really satisfying day. The driver was also glad to drive safely. Really pleasant ride with a new fancy car from Luxor to Aswan with the stops to the amazing temples Edfu and Ko Ombo which you shouldn’t be missing if you’re planing to drive your way to Aswan . As usual Khaled was an amazing guide and it was our pleasure to have him lead us .
