Private Fishing Experience in Santa Marta

Description
We will sail towards Aguja Island in Tayrona National Park, trolling as we go, while enjoying the Samarian sunrise and the stunning view of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta from the sea. We will arrive at a well-known fishing spot, where, if we're lucky, we might find tunas and bonitos—and hopefully, bring some back with us! This area is perfect for fishing, and we will have the chance to meet local fishermen along the way.

No fish, but then that's fishing. No bites & none seen. Small boat, but good/nice captain & mate. Lines/lures were in & out of the water fairly often; just two very small artificial lures were used. IMHO... Could have been more persistent w/ lines IN & with change of baits (colors, size, live, etc.) to increase odds.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that the fishing conditions weren’t favorable during your trip — as you mentioned, sometimes that’s just how fishing goes. We’re glad to know you appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the captain and crew. Your observations regarding the fishing techniques and lures used are very valuable to us. We will certainly take them into account to improve our approach and maximize the chances of success for our future guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another try — hopefully with better luck and a great catch! Warm regards, The Veleros Santa Marta Team 🎣⛵
