Private Etna tour and pistachio lunch in a pistachio farm
Description
Pick up from your accomodation at 9.00 am with guide's private car. We will arrive at 2000m above sea level. We'll have a easy walking through ancient craters, lava cave, amazing volcanic landscapes with explanations from the guide. During the morning visit you'll discovering and feel the amazing Etna's volcanic dynamics, surrounded by a lunar landscape. We will move in a pistachio farm to have lunch with typical sicilian dishes and pistachio products. The visit continues to see and know how and where this incredible plants grow! Drop-off to your accommodation around 16.30pm. Tour for a minimum of 2 people.

This was an INCREDIBLE experience. Highlight of our trip. Rafaele is supremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The farm is absolutely gorgeous and the lunch was the best meal we had of our trip. 10/10. Would highly recommend. If you’re thinking about it, just do it.

Raffaele was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating during our tour of etna and a pistachio farm. He led a fabulous day! The meal at a family owned pistachio farm was a highlight (the food was cooked in the back of someone’s kitchen and we truly were guests in someone’s home). The tour was an absolute pleasure and would recommend without reservation!
This was a wonderful experience all around! Raffaele is very knowledgeable about the island as a whole, so we ended up getting a bonus with learning so much more than expected (about chestnuts, almonds, Sicily history/mythology, etc.). Even though I brought my own nuts (my parents lol JK), he made sure we had the best time going out of his way to create the best memories. The hike was a lot of fun and suitable for our hiking skill level, and the pistachio farm was our favorite part of the entire vacation. Samantha, her mother were very welcoming and hospitable, and the meal cooked for us was the one of the best you can find in Sicily. Worth every penny and cannot recommend this excursion enough.
We had a tour guide (Raffaele) who was fantastic. He took us to Etna, give us god information, just enough. We went to a pistachio farm, it was great. I recommend that tour to any one who wants to have a different experience
Raffaele was an amazing guide, and he did a super job explaining everything to us. He is very knowledgeable of volcanos, agriculture, and life in general in Sicily since he is a local guide. We loved the hike up Etna and the Pistachio lunch was incredible. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily and we highly recommend booking this tour.

What a wonderful experience! Raffaele picked us up from our accommodation super punctually. During the car ride he already told us some very interesting things about Sicily and mount Etna. The tour itself was breathtaking and Raffaele was very patient, giving us all the time we needed to gaze at this spectacular area and investigate (many many) volcano stones :) the whole time he was very friendly, funny and he answered all the questions we had in perfect English. Afterwards we went for a wine tasting with lunch and it was just delicious and the place beautiful! In the end he also showed us an organic pistachio farm (which would have not been included in the tour). Raffaele is a great tour guide and a happy and lovely person! Thank you so much!
The tour was excellent and helped me discover what I wanted to know on Mount Etna. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting, passionate about his land, showing a highly professional attitude both in preliminary communication and during the tour. I can only recommend the guide and the tour.
