A true tiny gem in the heart of Venice: built later than most others and by only one man, the church of Miracoli was practically untouched over the course of the past centuries.
One of the more unique bridges to be found in Venice, since it is the only one without parapet.

Dennis from Venice was an excellent guide and knew the city well. The bites and drinks were plentiful and very specific to the area.
Claudia was an excellent guide. I'd highly recommend this experience with her. Venice was quite crowded at the time of our visit, so she took us on streets that were less crowded. We explored the Canneregio and Jewish Ghetto neighborhoods, learned many interesting bits of Venecian history and culture, and enjoyed delicious food and drinks. We were a group of two, one of us vegetarian and one us pescetarian. The restaurants/bars Claudia took us to easily accomodated us. This was a relaxing, interesting, fun evening with a local guide who helped us get a great feel for Venice.
Claudia not only gave us a history lesson on Venezia, she took us off the beaten path to sample great food, and to top it off, she provided answers for us concerning the maze of available water taxis and which taxis we needed to take in order to meet-up with our Dolomites tour group and the best way to visit the Murano and Burano Islands. She was really invaluable!
We were arriving in Venice late in the afternoon on Saturday, with only a day and a half in Venice. I found WithLocals on Google and chose Claudia. She was a wonderful guide, and very easy to talk to. She made our trip to Venice!! The "Drinks & Bites' tour was fantastic. I will recommend your company to all my friends. Claudia is a gem!!
We really enjoyed our time with Loris, he was so informative but chatted with us as friends. He did a great job of finding local great fresh Cicchetti and had great cocktail and wine recommendations. I definitely feel like he exceeded our expectations. I would schedule a cicchetti tour as early as possible in your stay in Venice so you can utilize what you’ve learned in your trip
We did this tour on our first night in Venice, and it was a great introduction to the city. Giada was a phenomenal host for our tour, as she took us to several places to sample many different cicchetti and wines. She was also very informative about the city, and gave us several recommendations for the rest of our stay in Venice. 10/10 would recommend this tour with Giada to anyone visiting Venice for the first time!
Giada was fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Venice wines food and hidden gems. She was delightful to spend the evening with and we wish we had met her earlier in the week as she showed us so many off the beaten path must do’s. If you’re debating this tour you will not be disappointed from our teen to our 20 yr olds to our age she was helpful and fun for all ages. We definitely will tour with her again We had a hiccup with first tour guid but Susanna in office responded immediately to concerns and got us connected with Giada
Adair was a great guide through the city! Introduced me to some great spots with good food and good drinks. She’s super knowledgeable and a great storyteller, too!
We had a great tour with Valerio who led us away from the tourist spots through Venice. This way you can not only see the standard of the city, but also experience the other sides behind the alleys and large canals. We received many tips, such as a small restaurant that normally only locals use. We also got all our questions answered about Venice. Valerio explained everything with a lot of fun and joy and so the two hours were very entertaining and passed by like in flight. The treats, wine and spritz offered were additional special features that made everything even more entertaining and enriched the walk. We would book such a tour again immediately!
We have visited Venice many times, taking lots of different tours but this time we chose something different. The tour was private, just the 3 of us and we met on a hot evening in Campo Apostoli. Over the next 2 hours we visited 3 bars/ Bacari which were off the beaten track. At each one we had a drink and cicchetti, these included fish of some kind on a thin wafer/ crispbread, meatballs, sardines with onions and crostini. We had an extra stop for a deep fried meatball at one particular place as Adair wanted one herself, this place does the best in town apparently. Adair is a friendly host and easy to communicate with as she is an American who now lives in Venice so there are no communication difficulties. We really enjoyed our tour and are hoping to do another tour with her when we return next year. If you are not a regular to Venice, this walk will be even more enjoyable as you will get to see some parts of the city you may not have visited before. Wear comfy shoes.
