Private Desert with Watching Sunset and Stargazing Tour

We will pick you up from anywhere in the Muscat area and drive to the beautiful Wahiba Sands Desert, a journey of approximately 2 hours through Oman’s stunning landscapes.

Bedouin House Experience at Um Said The first stop is the traditional Bedouin house of Um Said, where you will receive a warm Omani welcome with complimentary Arabic coffee, tea, and fresh dates. Take time to relax and learn about the Bedouin way of life while enjoying the peaceful desert atmosphere. You will also have the opportunity to browse and purchase a variety of handmade souvenirs, including bracelets, bags, keychains, scarves, bukhoor (traditional incense), and many other local crafts. For those wishing to experience a traditional desert activity, camel rides are available for OMR 3 per person, payable directly to the Bedouin host. You are welcome to unwind at the Bedouin house and enjoy the stunning desert scenery as you wait for the magical sunset over the dunes.

You will drive through the magnificent desert landscape and explore the golden dunes at your own pace. Find the perfect spot atop the dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset as the sky transforms into shades of gold, orange, and crimson. As darkness falls, remain in the desert to enjoy a peaceful stargazing experience beneath a blanket of countless stars, far from the city lights. After taking in the beauty and tranquility of the desert night, you can begin your drive back to Muscat with unforgettable memories of your desert adventure.

You may stop for dinner at a local restaurant or at a desert camp (subject to availability). Please note that dinner is not included in the tour price, and any food or beverages must be paid for directly at the venue. Please also note that the total tour duration is 8 hours. To make the most of your experience and ensure a timely return to Muscat, we kindly ask that you manage your time accordingly with the assistance of the tour guide.

After enjoying a breathtaking desert sunset and a memorable stargazing experience under the clear night sky, we will drive back to Muscat.
