Itinerary
The Sri Siva Subramaniya Hindu Temple is a magnificent monument in Nadi city. Set on the edge of the Nadi River, the temple is the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Admire the towering temple’s ornate carvings, depictions of Hindu gods and traditional Dravidian styling.
Stop over in Nadi Town for a chance of some souvenir shopping or wander around town and experience our local shops.
A great way to mingle with the locals and try some super fresh produce is at the local farmer’s markets and food markets in Nadi. It’s a true Fiji experience! Here, you’ll get to taste some of the sweetest pineapples and the most flavoursome bananas.
Down the same Nadi backroads as the Sebato Mud Pools, the Garden of the Sleeping Giant is a wonderful place to immerse in Fiji’s nature. The garden full of orchids and flowing plants lies in a valley below a mountain said to look like a sleeping giant. Follow the short walk around a tranquil tropical forest full of birds, skinks and other wildlife, as well as fish ponds. At the end of your walk, relax in the garden with a complimentary fruit drink.
A short drive out of the Sleeping Giant is the Sabeto Mud Pools. Lather yourself in thick mud and let it dry on your skin before soaking in natural hot spring water. While the treatment is meant to work wonders for your skin, the whole muddy experience will definitely appeal to your childish side! The complex is run by the local village, where authentic Fijian food and souvenirs are on sale too, as well as massage services. It’s the perfect way to experience “Fiji time“.

We organised a private tour for us and two kids (3yrs and 7 months). It was the perfect way to learn about the culture and see everything in a family friendly way. They brought a car seat for the baby and made the day easy. We loved our guide and appreciated that it’s a small family owned company. Highly recommend the Private tour (as did the kids - zero meltdowns)
Rakesh was an amazing tour guide and made the sight-seeing experience comfortable and enjoyable for our family of 5! We were able to explore some Fiji highlights and especially loved the garden of the sleeping giant and mud pool & hot springs! Thank you for your patience while we explored and for sharing so much of the Fijian history with us. We learnt so much from you Rakesh and made some wonderful memories! We hope to see you again when we visit next - Brooke & Jeffrey

Shivaan was very flexible and found the best stops for our shortened schedule. His personality was warm and fun. He was a very good and safe driver, managing to get us to our requested stops timely. We bought some Fiji rugby merch at a local shop and visited the garden of the sleeping giants.

Rakesh was an excellent guide! He loves Fiji and gave us lots of information while driving around. Our 1st tour was late, so we only got a few stops in but the temple is beautiful and the mud pool/hot pools was fun!
Rakesh was a lovely tour guide who picked us up on time, and toured us to the must-see locations around Nadi, and dropped us off at our hotel afterwards. We really enjoyed learning about the Garden of the Sleeping Giant and the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple. We're very grateful for the experience, and would recommend his tour to anyone. Thanks Rakesh for the awesome tour, Martin and Michelle.
Great day that was very relaxing and enjoyable for us older folk. Guide was fantastic with lots of information and the car was immaculate with nice cool aircon. We were picked up from our hotel and began our tour to the largest Hindu temple in the southern hemisphere with plenty of commentary to inform us on all you need to know. We were taken to a lovely place in the mountains and had a guide take us around and explained the different plants, given a cool refreshing drink to finish in a beautiful Hut that had plenty of fans to cool you down. Next we went to the mud pools where the locals greeted us and gave us a small talk on the thermal pools and the mud to apply yourself. A massage was offered for a small fee. Last we went to the markets where we could buy souvenirs from the local ladies , buy fruit and vegetables and more importantly buy your kava. We then headed back to our hotel where we finished off. All in all was a great half day experience that can be booked at a suitable time of your choice.
