Your private guide will meet you up at your hotel lobby or Hangzhou railway station based on your preferred time and head to Nanxun old water town. Upon arrival, stroll along the old town and learn about the Nanxun’s history from your guide. Take a relaxing boat ride along the canals and take some nice photos in this charm-laden town. Browse around the narrow, cobbled pathways and cross stone-arched bridges. When your tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hangzhou city.

This was a lovely day trip from Hangzhou. Nanxun remains much as it was through the last two Chinese dynasties. If you want to get an idea of what a small Chinese city looked like this is ideal. The driver was highly competent and the guide Lily was very well organized. Lunch was part of the tour and it was plentiful and delicious. There is a lot to eat in Nanxun but less to buy, so do your souvenir shopping before or after. Very nice tour. Thank you Lily.
