Gudauri is the most famous ski resort in Georgia. Here you can also do paragliding. From Gudauri Panorama (where the Georgia-Russia "Friendship" statue is stuated) there are amazing views over Gudauri mountains. Good place for taking very nice photos.
The church built in XIII century on the mount of Gergeti. With beautiful views of mount Kazbegi (Mkinvari - in Georgian) and town Stephantsminda.

I had a really great day trip from Tbilisi to Kazbegi with Irakli. He was very friendly, flexible, knowledgeable about Georgia and the area we were visiting, and also a very interesting person to talk to in many other ways. As part of the trip, we had two great hikes to Gveleti church and Gveleti waterfall.
We had the best trip to Georgia. Mr. Iraqli, our tour guide was the best. He gave us an excellent explanation of each location he took us to. Took us to the best Georgian restaurant., explained the significance of each monument. Helped us to commute in a neatly maintened 7 seater. Thankyou Iraqli, for making our tour memorable
