An excellent journey through history! Our guide, Mohamed, was excellent, sharing countless details about the monuments we visited in the Valley of the Kings and other historical details. He went the extra mile and made this trip memorable! We are immensely grateful for his effort, dedication, commitment, and professionalism. We highly recommend his services.
Ahmed achraf was a really good guide and explained everything to us The driver to Daniel transferred us safe and smooth to the location
I took this trip from Luxor to Abu Simbel, which is a very long journey, so I appreciated the early start. The drive itself was comfortable, and the driver was excellent—professional and reliable throughout. The vehicle was also very comfortable, which made the long travel manageable. On the way, the guide provided some useful insights, and we made a stop at a rest area where I could use the restroom and get snacks and coffee, which was helpful. However, the experience at Abu Simbel itself felt quite rushed. The guide gave only a brief explanation before the visit, and I was given around 30–45 minutes to explore both temples. This did not feel sufficient to fully experience the site, especially given the long journey to get there. The guide then waited at the café while I visited the temples on my own. There was also some confusion around lunch arrangements. Before reaching Abu Simbel, I was given the option to have lunch there or in Aswan, and I chose Abu Simbel. However, this plan kept changing—we drove past Aswan without stopping, and later I was told it would be better to eat in Luxor instead. In the end, there was no proper lunch stop, and I had to rely on a quick rest stop. Clearer communication on this would have been helpful. Additionally, while the tour was advertised as including an Egyptologist guide, the level of explanation did not consistently reflect that level of expertise. At Abu Simbel, the guide took only a few quick and poorly framed photos before stepping away. I had to rely on other visitors for decent pictures, which was disappointing and not in line with the level of service expected. Overall, while the transport and driver were strong positives, the visit itself felt rushed and not as well coordinated as expected. That said, it is still a workable option if you are looking to visit Abu Simbel from Luxor, but I would recommend clarifying expectations in advance.
Our day tour on 16.02.2026 to the temples Edfu, Kom Ombo and Abu Simbel with Nice Tours was an absolute disaster and incompetence that could hardly be beaten. When we arrived at the temple in Edfu, the guide seriously explained to us that we had to wait first because he had not yet received the money from accounting to buy the tickets for Edfu and Kom Ombo. His reasoning? The accountant would be asleep at the moment and would not be available. The worst part is: The guide apparently knew long in advance that he didn't have the tickets, and still did nothing to make sure we could do the tour as booked. We've never seen anything so unprofessional. Things got even better when the guide said Abu Simbel would probably be out of time. However, when asked, he confirmed that he already had tickets for Abu Simbel. So we decided to at least do Abu Simbel and skip the other two temples – assuming that we would, of course, get an adequate refund for the non-performance. The next day we reported the incident. The reaction? A ridiculous partial refund of €41.91 for a total price of €358.76. This is not only disappointing, it is simply rip-off. You just feel like you're completely screwed. Get your hands off this place. Absolutely unprofessional, poorly organised and obviously unable to perform a booked and paid service properly. Never again.
Had a great time at Abu Simbel today. Saw everything I wanted to see and got a lot of photos. My tour guide ahmed abd elwahab was excellent!
Had a great day going to the Abu Simbel Temple. Walid was an awesome guide. He was auper friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is a great option for a trip to Abu Simbel from Luxor. Left early in the morning so we could rest and missed the hottest part of the day at the temple.
The driver drove safely and comfortably. The guide spoke simple, easy-to-understand English because I am not good at it! Thank you for your kind response, such as using the translation app to explain the temple!
Temple of Absimbel I've always wanted to visit It was really helpful because there were no other tours to go from Luxor. The temple was also very good. Thank you to the driver for driving so long. Please refer to the caveats of this tour. Tours run from 4:00 to 19:00 but there is no lunch. There is a toilet break at the drive-in every two hours, but you should only bring snacks, sweet treats and coffee. This tour will feature drivers, bridgers and guides on site. When you get there, the bridger will pick you up and buy your ticket. After that, we part ways with the bridgekeeper and enter the park alone. The guide shows us their photos (we don't know where or who took them) on their smartphone while they walk. We ran away scared, not realizing that the person showing us our picture on this phone was a guide, and we ended up not being guided. There was no mention of my name on the smartphone screen I was shown, and was there no trouble with this strange system until now? If you are a guide, you should call yourself a guide, but it seems to be Egyptian that you don’t either. Also, it was scary because the driver was talking on the phone all the time and it was dangerous several times,
A tour where you just drive. I can't deny the feeling of being quite smug. It's nice to see the Temple of Absimbel, which I wanted to see. The guide sucks, the explanation takes 5 minutes and you go somewhere... Thank you for driving the driver, who is silent but kind. I was scared because I was going incredibly fast.
It’s worth the drive. This tour was very cool and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the temples . It was a long drive but seeing the Abu Simbel Temples was worth every hour on the road. We had a great driver. I would recommend this tour to my friend and family.
