Visit to the Neapolis of Syracuse, which includes the most important monuments of the Greek and Roman periods, such as the Greek theater, the Latomie del Paradiso, the ear of Dionysus, the Roman amphitheater.
Old Town of Syracuse, an islet separated by small bridges to the modern part, famous for the ruins of the first Greek buildings, such as the Apollo Temple, although the largest monument is the Duomo. No less important is the Fontana di Aretusa, a source of fresh water that forms a basin with papyrus plants.
Baroque jewel of eastern Sicily. Noto, a World Heritage Site, along with other sites located in the Val di Noto. Evident marvelous baroque architecture of its palaces and churches.

If you want to spend a good day in Syracuse and Noto, do not hesitate to contact Roberto! Good driver, good information and pleasant throughout the day. He let us visit the cities in our time without pressure, took us to special places and recommended a place to eat lunch. Coming back, he caught up with us to a point outside the itinerary just for his generosity. Highly recommended!

We spent the day taking a private tour from Catania to Siracusa and Noto with Roberto. It was a great day. He picked us up at our hotel. We saw the ruins in Siracusa and walked around the town. Then we went to Noto where we had a nice lunch and did some more site-seeing. We were dropped off back at the hotel at the end of the day. Why be on a bus with 30 other people. Take the private day tour with Roberto.
The vehicle provided was unsuitable for 4 passengers and a driver. It was just a regular size sedan. We could barely squeeze into the car and the person sat in the middle was squashed in and had to keep her knees up throughout as the floor was raised in the centre. This was unacceptable for journey longer than 5 minutes, let alone for spending all day in the car. The tour was very expensive, we expected some modicum of comfort for that price. We would have been more comfortable on a large bus tour as at least everyone would have gotten a seat. The driver was pleasant but he wasn't a tour guide. He merely a drove us, and gave us some info. Although he did guide us through Siracusa. Worst tour ever!
