The European DREAM Tour was a NIGHTMARE. You will be very disappointed.

We have been on many trips in our 50+ years of marriage. This tour was horrible. Extremely rushed, tour director seemed very detached from our group, always walking way ahead of everyone in a hurry. Our bus driver got lost going to one of our excursions to a vineyard so the tour was cut very short. Our group had to ask repeatedly to turn the air on (as the outside temps were over 90 degrees and he actually seemed reluctant to turn the AC on!). Every place that Trafalgar arranged to eat at, the food was like in a cafeteria. Not once did the bus driver pull over so that any scenic pictures could be taken. The trip from France to Lucerne was 7 hours long and we had one stop at a highway rest stop with long lines and we had 45 minutes. We did not see any vineyards on the interstate because the whole trip was rush, rush, rush from one point to another. Hotels we mediocre at best. The hotel in Switzerland didn't even have AC (remember, it was over 90 degrees) and the fan they gave us was broken. The only thing we did in Switzerland was take a gondola ride up and down a mountain. No shops, no time to see any other sights. Nothing. The entire trip made everyone feel like we were a herd of cattle and I would NEVER recommend Trafalgar Tours to anyone.

Sibiu

This company is also known as Active holidays. Valentin was such a great guide! In a very calm way, he explained historical facts, events, personalities from Romanian history. But it was even beyond the scheduled plan trying to accommodate our interests and curiosity to the general plan. It was a fantastical experience. As a frequent traveler I can tell you, this was one of the most memorable guided tours I have taken.

Favorite city in romania

It was just myself and the tour guide Valentin he drove me the 2 hours on his day off and showed me around this very cool city. It is worth visiting the "city of eyes" as I call it
