Visit the Heritage town of Surabaya with this Private day tour. we will pick you up from your hotel or cruise port and take you all around the town, stopping in traditional neighborhoods, historical places and cultural society of interests, with plenty of time to try out local food or shop in a local market. We will be strolling down to historical and cultural destinations in Surabaya and we are going to figure out from Europe Quarter, Arabian Quarter, and Chinese Quarter. The duration of the tour is 4-5 hours.

We will visit the largest Submarine Monument in Asia ,Surabaya Submarine Monument. This attraction has the real figure of the ship it self.
We will walk around in Surabaya City Square/Balai Pemuda. This place has underground city square as Museum and Library center in Surabaya. This place was an Dutch Community public place called "“De Simpangsche Sociёteit”.
This is the central of Chinese quarter in Surabaya. We will pass this area and see lots of chinese market, street food, and Chinese temple.
Explore by walking in Ampel Arabian Market explore arabian quarter in Surabaya
Visit to traditional Fish Market Pabean, take a look how fisherman gather their fresh fish to this traditional market. We will strolling down this market and explore what they sell in this market.
Visit Surabaya Heroes Monument to recall memories of Battle of Surabaya. You will understand why Surabaya is called the City of Heroes.
Visit to Mirota Batik and Handicraft the souvenirs shop and batik boutique in Surabaya. You will find batik to wooden spatulas to crafty bags to showpieces, magnets, jewellery, dream catches and windchimes.
Last but not least, drive to Chinese Quarter and visit Kelenteng Sanggar Agung and 4 faces Budha

Tremendous seven hour excursion through Surabaya with Diki our guide and Agas our driver. Both were exceptionally knowledgeable of the city and it's history, making stops at the Monumen Tugu Pahlawan dan Museum Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya and Monumen Kapal Selam Surabaya all the more interesting and educational. The tour wasn't just history, though, as we were also taken to the old Arabian market as well as - and trust me, I'm NOT a shopper - a really quite fine and rather enormous gift store featuring everything from the standard knick knacks, to a mind boggling selection of excellent Batik clothing and fabrics, culminating with heirloom-quality antique furnishings on the un-air conditioned third floor. Not usually a fan but, wow. One of the day's highlights, though, was lunch at the restaurant chosen by Diki, the Ria Galleria. Beautiful interior, excellent service, and scrumptious food, this establishment hit all the right spots at just the right time. 10/10, highly recommend.

Excellent English ( a Java Uni degree in English ( including Shakespeare!) He was VERY knowledgeable about the history and various cultures which inhabit Java.. We are “people” travelers. Interested in the culture but not thrilled with museums.

Our tour guide, Andri, was very personable, informative and friendly. Our tour included all admission fees which made it easy for us. We spent 4 hours touring temples, a museum and taking in the sights, while learning about the history and people of the area. Highly recommend.

Elvvira & her driver Amit from Trippy Tours were fantastic! We designed our own tour & they accommodated us in every way. She is extremely knowledgeable, speaks excellent English abd made the day special. We toured the 4 headed buddha, temple & mosque. Finished the day with high tea in which they joined us. Our tour was well planned so we would be back to our ship on time. Our tour guide Dina was lovely but didn’t seem as knowledgeable and forthcoming with information I would have liked about Surabaya. She was not offering information and we had to ask questions before she would respond. As the tour progressed she offered more information but mostly about the independence efforts during the war. She was very soft spoken so she was a bit hard to understand. As first time visitors to Surabaya, I felt there was so much we didn’t know and thought were going to learn more on this tour. We had to cut our tour short so we missed the Arab market but she did ask the driver take a detour through the area so we would get an idea of what it was like. We appreciated that!
