Swoyambhunath Stupa, the world famous stupa located on the top of a hill and is believed to be as ancient as the origin of Kathmandu itself. It is equally popular among Buddhists and Hindus and is often referred to by westerners as the Monkey Temple. A wide view of the valley below can be seen from here.

Patan Durbar Square, yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its collection of unique temples, palaces, and not to forget, Patan Museum, Golden temple, Newari arts and visit a traditional healing bowl center. If you wish, we will take you on a short walk through the narrow streets and market areas of Patan to see the local people and culture.

Boudhanath Stupa, an important Buddhist shrine. It looks particularly spectacular in the evening, thanks to thousands of lamps lit by the monks and pilgrims. If time permits. In this complex we can experience the Tibetan Buddhism, visit monasteries, see the monks chanting yet get blessing from the renowed Lamas at the monsateries. We will have our lunch at a terrace restaurant enjoying the spectacular ciew of the giant Stupa.
