pick up u from Guilin any hotel at 9:30 am, first destination is Reed flute cave, it will take 30 minutes to drive and reach this cave, there are 240 metres deep in this cave, it's a “U" shape, we have to walk around 500 metres inside, it will take around 1 hour ti visit it, with its location 7 kilometers northwest of the downtown of Guilin, the Reed Flute Cave is a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, it was reputed a natrual art palace. purchase tickets on-site with your passport for CNY90 each person.
second destination is Daxu ancient town, from Reed flute cave to this ancient town, it will take 1 hour to drive and reach Daxu Ancient Town which is situated at the east bank of the Li River, 23 km (14.3 miles) southeast of Guilin City. Having a history of more than 1000 years, the town originally formed in the early Northern Song Dynasty and was the leader of four renowned ancient towns in Guangxi Province as early as 600 years ago. Fine examples of the town's long history include: the Gaozu Temple, the Hanhuang Temple built in the Qing Dynasty the assembly halls, and the two-kilometer long bluestone street lined with many well maintained buildings. While visiting the town, the Longevity Bridge cannot be missed. Built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it is a stone arch both natural and simplistic in its beauty. With the Li River at its west side, it is an excellent place to appreciate the charming scenery of the river. it will take one hour to visit it.
after visit daxu ancient town, take 1 and half an hour to drive and reach Yangdi pier, you will take electric bamboo boat for one hour from Yangdi pier to Nine horses hill dock where is the highlight of Li River, the scenery is like an artist's masterpiece. The landscape is decorated with startling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves and farming villages, and is lined with bamboo. In a Chinese poem it is written: "The river is a green silk ribbon, and the hills are jade hairpins". it is charged CNY140 per person. we need to purchase it on-site with your passports. one bamboo raft can only accommodate 4 people.
After cruise, it takes 20 minutes to drive and we will show you to Xianggong Hill in Yangshuo which is a renowned scenic spot offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Li River's iconic karst landscape. on the top of hill, you will have a bird's eye of spectacular Views which is the summit provides one of the best vantage points to admire the "First Bend of the Li River" and the surrounding karst mountains . it is Popular for photographers capturing the misty river bends and dramatic limestone peaks . admission fee charge CNY60 each person.
at 7:30 pm. we show you to a natural theater which utilizes the waters of the Li River as its stage, with twelve mist shrouded hills and the heavens as its backdrop. the hills and their inverted reflections in the river all become the ever-changing natural background. this theater is housed on the natural islands of the river, The valleys, the hills, the cool breeze and the gurgling streams are all elements contributing to the three-dimensional sound effect. you will have unique experience every time you watch it. This is really a new concept opera using nature as an integral part of its performers; hence its name - 'Human's Masterpiece Cooperated with the God'. after show ends, we return your hotel in Guilin around at 10.30pm. admission fee charge CNY328 each person. If there is heavy rain or rising water level rises above a certain level, the performance may be cancelled. Thank you so much to Jerry for a seamless experience. I (33F, Australian Chinese) brought my 92 y.o. grandmother (HK) and wasn't sure what parts of the tour would work for her but Jerry was incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and thoughtful. We ended up doing the Guilin to Yangshou cruise without the bamboo rafting (this is restricted to those under 70), then part of the Yinziyan (my grandmother was amazing and got about a quarter of the way through but it was too dark for her to feel comfortable afterwards as she's had a hip replacement after a slip). We went on the countryside electric bike tour which she absolutely adored, then finished by walking around Yangshuo Xi Street, before grabbing dinner at a spot he recommended for beer fish. I'm deeply grateful for the memories he's helped us create today and plan to come back to do a fuller trip. I would recommend Jerry in a heartbeat.

Our guide Jerry, communicated well before the tour and was waiting for us in our hotel reception at 9.00 am. ready to go. He speaks very good English and provided lots of information at every stage of the day.His car was comfortable and his driving safe and sensible. We chose to visit the Reed Flute Cave, Daxu old town, took the Li river bamboo boat cruise and finished with the mountain top viewpoint. All in all a great, well paced day with the river trip the absolute highlight. Fully recommend Jerry to anyone visiting Guilin

Provider totally flexible - I accidentally booked three days early - at no further cost a tour was possible on a later day. Jason the tour guide spoke fluent English, knew the best places to take photos, shortcuts to the bats and responded individually to my wishes. Of course totally helpful in China to have someone who can communicate in Mandarin

We had an amazing Guilin & Yangshuo tour experience, all thanks to our guide Jerry. He was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the trip, especially towards my mom.
