Morning: Visit Panda Research Base in northern suburb of Chengdu City 07:00-08:00 Transfer from hotel to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (known as Chengdu Panda Base) which is the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. 09:00-11:30 Visit rooms of adult pandas, sub-adult pandas and baby pandas, you can see they are eating bamboo and playing around in the morning.
Afternoon: Drive to Visit Grand Buddha in Leshan City 12:30-15:00 Drive from Chengdu to Leshan Grand Buddha with the height of 71 meter, sitting at the confluence of three rivers in Leshan city. It is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. It was carved on the cliff of Lingyun Mountain in order to suppress the flood. 15:00-17:30 Visit the Buddha mountain, from the head of the gigantic Buddha to his enormous toes. 17:30-20:00 Drive from Leshan back to Chengdu.

Visit the pandas and a quick explore of the city with private transfers. We visited on an overnight stop over in Chengdu. The arraignments were excellent with my guide Summer. She was great, knowledgeable and excellent English speaking.
If you are short on time like we were then this is the tour for you. You get to see the pandas and the giant Buddha all in one day. It makes for a long day, but at least you get to see everything. If I had to do it again I would probably make it a two day trip, but if you are short on time this is the golden ticket tour.
This calls for a very long day but if you want to see the panda's and the LeShan Buddha in one day then this is a great tour. Our tour guide, Louis, spoke very well and was very passionate about China and the surrounding sites.
The tour guide is knowledgeable with good command of English. The Panda park is great with good environment care. Can be improve if we can touch and see the baby Panda. Part of Leshan is under renovation and regret not have a chance to walk to the feet area. Other interesting area in Leshan was not introduce although the tour time is rather short. Overall very impress with tour guide performance!
