Itinerary
The Old Town of Vilnius, one of the largest surviving medieval old towns in Northern Europe, has an area of 3.59 square kilometres (887 acres).
Užupis is the smallest district in Vilnius and is separated from the Old Town by the Vilnelė River. Formerly a troublesome place in the early 1990s, Užupis has grown into a beautiful neighbourhood of artists, intellectuals and entrepreneurs.
The Cathedral Square in Vilnius is the main square of the Vilnius Old Town, right in front of the neo-classical Vilnius Cathedral. It is a key location in city's public life, situated as it is at the crossing of the city's main streets and reflecting the city's diversity.
Stikliu Street in the past was a Jewish centre of commerce in the city of Vilnius, with the main activity being glass manufacture. Nowadays, it is just a narrow street with some interesting buildings to view and an expensive hotel.
A standard meet up spot for locals, the Town Hall is a pretty average classical building painted with muted colors. The surrounding square has mostly Soviet classical buildings, though when painted creatively they blend and look older than they appear.

Paul is an excellent guide with very good English. He gave an initial talk about the history of Lithuania and Vilnius and then added specifics on each building as we walked around.
A very learned guide who is passionate about the history of his country and the city of Vilnius.
I booked more than a month before. Once the payment is withdrawn, no more guide available with the chosen options! Change of date and spoken language!!
Perfect in French. Numerous references. Punctual, available, informative, instructive. Thank you very much for this discovery of Vilnius. The churches, the ghetto, etc... without our guide we probably would not have understood anything. Thank you

This 3-hour private walking tour through Vilnius was fantastic. Our guide, Paul, was 5-star! His English was amazing, his knowledge and history of the city and landmarks were impressive, and the unique facts and great people skills made the walk and tour very enjoyable. He tailored the tour to our needs, and we so appreciated this approach. He’s passionate about providing great service as this is his livelihood.
Our guide Paul was very knowledgeable and showed us all the wonderful sites around Old Town. We enjoyed our time with him and seeing Vilnius!
It was a rainy day and our guide, Milinsenta, worked with us to delay the tour until the weather was improved. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful experience, learning about life in Lithuania.
Great walking tour. The person giving the tour, Paul was super friendly and made us feel really comfortable. Easy to communicate with and felt comfortable asking questions and joking around a bit. Found the tour very educational and he didn't overload us with information. He told us some interesting facts about vilnius and helped us find our way around and gave us some recommendations for places to go to and if we wanted to explore more by ourselves. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
My guide, Paul was simply excellent- very knowledgeable with a pleasant personality. I had limited time in the city and he was able to show me the most interesting bits. I highly recommended the tour and this guide.
