Private Custom Singapore Walking Tour (4–8 Hrs, Flexible Plan)

Pam was an excellent guide on our wonderful 6 hour walking tour of Singapore! She was very knowledgeable and very personable too!! My husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandson and I all really enjoyed the tour. Since my husband and I are seniors, she didn't make it too strenuous, and we got to ride both a scenic bus and a train as well as doing a lot of walking. Singapore is a beautiful, clean, safe and very enjoyable place. We loved the hawker markets, especially in Chinatown, and our great guide, Pam (Ching Pin), directed us to the tastiest food! We especially loved the Carrot Cake, which neither has carrots nor is it cake! It's made from two delicious varieties of sweet radishes! You should try it!

We (my wife and I along with our daughter, son-in-law and 9-year old grandson) went on a 6 hour tour with Pam as our guide. Pam showed up promptly at our hotel and reviewed with us our interests, preferences and food restrictions. She then took us by bus to the civic district, where we visited several sites as she talked about the history and culture of Singapore, freely sharing some of her own family and personal history. Then we walked to and through Chinatown, culminating in a visit to a hawker center where Pam expertly ordered different dishes for us consistent with our preferences and restrictions. Then, since I had expressed a desire to see a housing complex, she took us to The Pinnacle at Buxton, where we went inside and up the roof. Since we were interested, Pam thoroughly explained the government's housing policies and talked about her own housing situation. As were getting tired, and time was up anyway, Pam walked us to the MRT and explained how to take it back to our hotel. But when she saw we were a little apprehensive about it, she led into the station and onto the train and rode back with us to our hotel, which was really above and beyond. Pam was an extremely knowledgeable, personable and kind guide, and did a great job of molding our tour to fit our interests and needs. I highly recommend a tour with this company and if possible with Pam.

Pamela was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us a good oversight of Singaporean culture and what it is like to live there. We especially enjoyed eating chicken and rice in the Maxwell Hawker

Our tour with Gene was one of the highlights of our visit to Singapore. He was knowledgeable, conscientious, and attentive to every detail throughout the day. His passion for Singapore's history, culture, and people brought each neighborhood to life through fascinating stories and personal insights. From learning about Peranakan culture in Katong and Joo Chiat to exploring the Merlion, Fullerton area, and Chinatown's historic temples, every stop was informative and enjoyable. Gene also introduced us to local foods and specialties along the way, explaining their cultural significance and helping us experience Singapore through its diverse culinary traditions. The food recommendations and tastings added another dimension to an already outstanding tour. As a group of senior travelers, we especially appreciated how thoughtful Gene was in Singapore's tropical heat. He adjusted the pace to our needs, made sure we had opportunities to rest and cool down, and never made us feel rushed. His awareness of our comfort and ability to tailor the tour to our group made the experience even more enjoyable. Gene's warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made the experience truly special. We left with a much deeper appreciation of Singapore and wonderful memories. Gene is an outstanding guide, and we highly recommend him.

We had booked a five-hour walking tour of Singapore. When our guide picked us up at the hotel he mentioned that it was unusually warm even for Singapore and brought us each a battery operated fan to wear around our necks. We brought our reusable water bottles completely filled. We also stopped at 711 for more water during the tour. The fans helped more than thought they would. We also took the subway in between a few of the places on the tour. We saw mosques, temples and other things we had requested. We ended the tour at the Raffles Hotel.

Amazing afternoon with Pam on our walking tour taking in Chinatown and it’s beautiful Chinese temples where Pam shared the history and her personal experience with us. Tasting the King of Fruits, durian and tea in a bag as well as bubble tea were fun for our teens. Pam made the whole tour lively with her knowledge and passion for Singapore. We all loved it!

Our Tour guide Gene was brilliant. I expected him to be knowledgeable but he really showed his passion for Singapore with local knowledge and history of the country. We covered a vast array of topics and he tools us to some of the less frequently visited locations which was precisely what we wanted. Great history, locations, people and food. We left tired but delighted with the day. Highly recommended and Gene was a credit to the tour operator and his trade. Jo & Malcolm.

Su was Very professional throughout the tour. She answered all our questions and provided a historical context for all the places we visited. Her knowledge was exceptional and made the entire tour very enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend Su as she is a fantastic tour guide.

Our guide Kwang provided excellent historical and cultural context throughout the tour, and took us to several unique places in addition to more well known sites. We appreciated that Hello Singapore solicited our input in advance, so Kwang built our agenda accordingly. Along the way he also showed us how to navigate the transit system, hawker centers, etc. which was helpful for the remainder of our trip. We covered a lot in 4 hours. Thanks, Kwang!

We had a wonderful day touring with Gene DC . Gene had a great plan, taking us all around Singapore , not just the typical attractions. Just the right amount of walking - no surprise that it was hot. Finished with a great meal at PS.cafe. Highly recommend Gene
