I chose this tour in the hopes that I would get to see some life outside the major city. There is really not a whole lot to see outside DOHA. A few piles of rubble and a lot of desert. Pearl Island is just a bunch of mangroves. Al Zubbarah fort is interesting for about 3 minutes (look at pictures - its enough). The Al Jumail village is just not that interesting - another pile of rubble. A lot more to see in DOHA and experience in and around the west bay and Lusail city. The first 4 hours was a lot of driving to see those few sites in the North. Next time I would do a more immersive tour of Doha (Im not into shopping). The tour operator never contacted me to confirm the tour I had to reach out to them and they confirmed. The guide reached out less than 24 hours before the tour (likely when he was assigned) - not his fault but he was prompt and had a nice Land Cruiser. The guide showed me a great BBQ fish lunch, so that was one of the highlights. English was limited so it was not a very descriptive tour, I had to use my phone to learn more details.
Shahid is a very experienced tour guy. He knows everything about Doha. He is friendly and patient. He worked overtime to complete our itinerary. We are happy with him. Thank you Shahid.
Ajmal was a great tour guide. Seemed knowledgeable and eager to answer my questions. The tour was timed well. Never felt we had to rush. Nice pace for an 8 hour tour. Picked me up on time at the cruise port and dropped me off at the airport. 👍🏻
A perfect city tour guide in Qatar, would cover a blend of modern marvels, cultural heritage, and natural beauty. Enjoy the stunning views of the Doha skyline. The Katara Mosque is a stunning spot too. This tour allows you to experience a quieter, more scenic side of Qatar, away from the bustling cities
Jameel was very punctual, very polite and helpful, did everything so I could see all sights. This tour is very good to see both desert and city, learn some Qatar history and see some places both during day and night.
