There aren’t enough stars available to accurately reflect the private tour we had today with Siddhi of Namaste. Prior to the booking, communication via email and WhatsApp was excellent, confirming the booking and giving full details of meeting time and location and even a photo of Siddhi to enable us to identify him amidst the chaos outside the port gate. The tour (details in the TA guide) was thorough and during it Siddhi proved what an incredibly knowledgeable guide he is and he clearly takes pride in the service he delivers. About midway through the day he took us to a restaurant for a Thali lunch which was delicious and he was diligent in ensuring any drinks we were served were in sealed containers e.g. bottles of water. The final part of the tour was the Dharavi Slums, a part of the itinerary about which we were unsure whether to undertake. However, with Sidd’s expert guidance and engaging manner we were led on an incredible journey through firstly the business sector then the residential. He really opened our eyes to help us understand what the infamous slums are all about ; hint, forget ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ We came away with a deep understanding and respect for the inhabitants/workers. There was no clock watching by Sidd at all as we were driven around the city and walked through the itinerary. Namaste can also arrange tours in other parts of India e.g. the Golden Triangle. As you can see, we can’t recommend highly enough Namaste but especially Sidd. He really made us want to return.

We had an amazing tour guided by Sid around dharavi slum and Dhobi ghat. He was really informative and explained lots of history and interesting facts about the two places. They were both so teeming with life and it was a real privilege to be taken around people’s private homes and such an amazing service for the city. I highly recommend Sid as a tour guide .

Spectacular. We were very well received by Sid, very calm and extremely careful with us. For different visits we also had other guides from the team of Sid, very welcoming as well. We felt a lot of security with the Namaste team and a lot of knowledge about the history of each visit we made.
Namaste! Thank you so much for wonderful review.
I had an amazing full-day tour with Namaste, guided by the wonderful Siddhi. Exploring Dharavi, Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat, and Crawford Market was both eye-opening and enriching. Siddhi’s knowledge and warmth made the experience unforgettable, offering deep insights into Mumbai’s culture and history. The visit to Dharavi was especially inspiring, showcasing the vibrant community and its resilience. At Dhobi Ghat and Crawford Market, Siddhi’s storytelling brought these iconic spots to life. The tour was seamless, respectful, and highly engaging. I’d highly recommend Namaste and Siddhi to anyone visiting Mumbai!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the day very enjoyable. He picked us up at the hotel and dropped us at the airport. Even though we only had one day, we saw several highlights of Mumbai, including the most expensive houses and a very interesting tour of the slums. We also saw the gateway arch, the Taj hotel, the outdoor laundry, Ghandi's house, and the lunchbox distribution. We recommend this tour.
