We had an amazing city tour in the Bahamas with AJ! From start to finish, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable. We especially loved the beautiful views, scenery, and learning more about the island. What stood out most was AJ’s honesty and professionalism. There was some confusion regarding payment, and once we realized the mistake on our end and brought it to his attention, he handled everything with integrity and kindness. It’s rare to find someone so trustworthy. We truly appreciated the experience and would absolutely book with AJ again in the future. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great tour guide in the Bahamas!

We had a great time with our guide, on our very first visit to Nassau. We’ve met so many wonderful people during our visit and it’s kind of embarrassing that I’m not totally sure of his name but I think it was AJ or TJ? Anyway, he knows who he is and what a great first time visitor experience he gave us. The initial meeting was on time and easily located. He introduced himself and discussed our interests to finalise the tour itinerary to personalise it to us. The tour was very well paced with plenty of photo and shopping opportunities. We would definitely recommend an early tour to avoid the crowds at the popular spots! Our guide gave us a running commentary on the surrounding areas, the local historic sites and everything else Bahamian, which was interesting and captivating. We would definitely recommend this tour as it was a pleasure to learn and experience so much and at a great pace too.

AJ was such a friendly tour guide! Nice vehicle and gave us the time we wanted at each stop. He even left the vehicle running at several stops so we would cool down quickly after touring. He has a lot of knowledge about the area and the history. He helped us to get some souvenirs purchased when the lines were long and found a great place for conch salad for my wife. I couldn't of asked for a better experience!!!

While AJ was absolutely great, the excursion itself was a huge waste of money. All I really experienced was how dirty and rough Nassau is. I am not even sure why anyone even goes to Nassau. There is garbage everywhere on the island - piled up in front of people's homes, on the sidewalks, roads, etc. It truly was gross. But again, AJ did fantastic, just felt like I wasted money and time seeing ghetto like areas.
Thank you so much for your feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re especially glad to hear that you enjoyed your tour with AJ; we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to him! We’re sorry to hear that parts of the excursion didn’t meet your expectations. Nassau, and The Bahamas as a whole, is actually known for its Cleanliness, natural beauty, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality, and many visitors have incredibly positive experiences here. Like any destination, there can be areas that don’t reflect the island at its best, but they certainly don’t represent the true spirit or overall environment of The Bahamas. We truly value your perspective and will use your comments to continue improving our tours so that every guest leaves with a memorable and enjoyable impression. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future to show you a different side of Nassau!
We always like to begin a trip with a foodie tour and a history tour. AJ was a guide for history and fun facts! Pickup and drop off from AirBnB, AJ was super!

AJ our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. He shared lots of facts about the Bahamas as we drove around our various locations. We crammed a lot into the tour but none of it felt rushed. We visited Fort Charlotte and did a swift 15 minute tour, then had time to purchase souvenirs from the market on site. We next went to the tasty tea shop to try 3 different teas as well as some hot sauce, followed by the rum distillery just down the road where we got to sample as well. We got to take some great photos at the Queens Steps and also drove past a number of government buildings and embassies which AJ pointed out. Finally we did the rum cake factory and a quick trip to the beach to try conch fritters. AJ was so patient and allowed us as much time at each stop as we wanted. Whilst there was opportunity to purchase souvenirs or goods at each stop, you did not have to and the local Bahamian people did not come across as pushy but just wanted to show off there locally made goods and answer any questions we had about how things were made. We are a British family with 2 teenagers on the trip with us, and they also found it interesting and enjoyable as it was long enough to enjoy sites but short enough to hold their attention! We would highly recommend.
