The Nicolás Avellaneda Ferry Bridge, officially the Nicolás Avellaneda Riachuelo Ferry or simply Puente Transportador is a ferry bridge located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which was inaugurated in 1914 and operated until 1960. In 2011, work began to rehabilitate it and after 6 years, on September 27, 2017, the ferry returned to operation after 60 years of inactivity. This re-inauguration trip was made by journalists, National Roads personnel who participated in the repair of the ferry and neighbors who were selected in a draw. My husband and I wanted a private tour and were able to get just that. Juan Manuel was full of knowledge and was so helpful during the tour. I highly recommend Juan as a guide and we both feel so grateful to have been show around La Boca by him. He was friendly, welcoming, and taught us so much about the rich history and neighborhood. He showed us around the main parts and a few less obvious areas. 10/10 would recommend and book with him again!

Juan Manuel provided a thorough informative and fascinating walking tour of the Boca area. Covering the immigration, sporting and artistic history and impact the tour opened our eyes to this amazing place with both key major points and interesting minor details. Love the tour

Excellent guiding by Yamilla! I had great insights into the Barrio, it's history, Tango etc.. she is a very enthusiastic guide and a good company too. I also got some recommendations on local places as an added friendly gesture. Highly recommended

Juan Manuel was ver knowledgeable and flexible with our stops. He taught me a lot of cool facts about Argentinian history, tango and art of the city. I absolutely recommend this tour and Juan as your guide!!
thank you very much for your comments and time. We are glad you enjoyed the tour and look forward to seeing you soon in Buenos Aires.
Our guide was knowledgeable but he added 2 people to our private tour without letting us know in advance. The tour was advertised as 4 hours but ours ended after only 2 hours.
Good afternoon. Thank you for your comment, all our tours are small groups. Sometimes the tours, like in La Boca neighbourhood or the Museums, may incorporate new passengers, but always in small groups with a guide fully dedicated to your attention. In any case, the tour was carried out as planned by walking through the entire touristic area of La Boca. All walking tours have a duration of 120 to 150 minutes (2 hours or 2 hours 30 minutes) depending on the interest of the passengers.
Elizabeth our guide was awesome. We had some miscommunication as regard to a meeting spot and she tracked us down a half an hour after tour was suppose to start. She then took us on tour and was a wealth of information on the history of the area. Thank you so much Elizabeth !
We are glad you enjoyed the tour. We will pass on your comments to the guide. We are sure she will be happy to hear that you enjoyed your tour.
I loved the color of the neighborhood, it is clearly an area for tourists but it retains its charm, it would seem somewhat dangerous if one left the path
Muchas gracias por su comentario Sabemos que el barrio de La Boca puede generar ciertos inconvenientes, por eso siempre recomendamos hacer la visita con un guía para aprovechar al máximo lo que el barrio ofrece al turista.
Elizabeth was our guide for the walking tour. She had lots of information for us and was very nice. Walked around la boca and la caminita and she informed us of the history and showed us the important sites etc. She even helped us with recommendations for lunch and other places to see in the city during our time in buenos aires. Highly recommend!!
We appreciate your time and words of thanks. We are pleased that you enjoyed the tour and look forward to welcoming you on another experience in Argentina soon. Thank you
