Wat Phra Chetuphon (Wat Pho) is one of Bangkok’s most iconic temples, best known for its impressive 46-meter Reclining Buddha. Located near the Grand Palace, it is also recognized as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage and a historic center of learning, featuring beautiful murals, stupas, and classic Thai architecture.
The temple is popular among visitors and locals alike.
Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) is one of Bangkok’s most striking landmarks, rising gracefully along the Chao Phraya River. Famous for its towering prang decorated with colorful porcelain, the temple is especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset, offering panoramic views and showcasing fine examples of traditional Thai and Khmer-inspired architecture.
You will amaze by visiting the biggest wholesale and retail fresh flower market in Bangkok. The market has all kinds of popular flowers and flora-related items, including roses, forget me nots, orchids, lilies and more. Most of them sold in packs of 50 or 100 flowers in each, and prices are amazingly cheap.
The Buddha Image is the largest Golden Buddha Image in the world. It was made of pure gold with the price value 28.5 million pounds and over 700 years old. You will be at this temple for more than an hour, allowing you to soak in the atmosphere, and the good luck!
You will see there are many shops selling gold, garments, textiles, stationery, souvenirs, second-hand parts and equipment, electric goods, computer parts, antiques, imported musical instruments and local delicacies.

Very good tour. The guide took a lot of photos and explained very well. Good option for reservating a city tour!
Kit was very knowledgeable about everything on the tour and gave us great insight at each spot we visited as well as in between when traveling to the next location. He also was more than glad to answer all of our questions. The tour was fast paced but you get to see a lot and are provided with wonderful photo opportunities.
Our guide was on time, professional and very personable. Our day was well coordinated, including lunch, restroom and water stops.
A great start to our tour of Thailand trip. Aey , our guide and her driver, negotiated the busy roads of Bangkok to take us to the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Golden Buddha, Reclining Buddha, Emerald Buddha, flower market. Aey bought us fruits and treats to sample and we were take to a very popular cafe for a Thai lunch. An excellent start to our adventure!
We had an amazing full day tour of Bangkok with Mr. Wat. He picked us up at our hotel arriving early and immediately presented us with fruit and traditional Thai sweets. Our tour included the Golden Buddha, the Emerald Buddha, the Grand Palace, Temple of Dawn, and the Reclining Buddha, everything that we wanted to see. Mr. Wat provided information on the sites themselves as well as commentary on everyday life in Thailand. It was a day well spent!
Fantastic tour of Bangkok. We had the most wonderful guide Chanin. He was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and patient. He allowed us to take our time at sites so we could take a lot of photos. We saw all the major temples and walked the palace grounds. Ate at a fantastic little restaurant and even walked through the flower market. Absolutely loved our day.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our full day tour of Bangkok. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and shared so much of Thailand's rich history throughout the day. We visited several temples, which were incredible, especially the reclining Buddha. We also had lunch at a local restaurant and visited the flower market, which was fun. We even took a short ferry ride across the river to get to one temple. Be prepared to walk a lot (over 10K steps) and wear appropriate temple dress-I was fine in long pants, polo shirt and flip-flops. My wife wore a sleeveless dress and used a shawl to cover her shoulders, which had been fine at other temples in Phuket and Chang Mai, but at the Grand Palace this was not deemed acceptable, so she had a buy a shirt (100 baht from a local vendor). Our guide gave us water at the start of the tour, but be prepared to buy more along the way as the humidity is brutal! We were so glad to have this expert guidance, as navigating these busy and crowded tourist sites on our own would have been next to impossible. If you only have one day (like we did) I would highly recommend doing this full day tour.
The tour was amazing. Miss Yuwanee was so knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind. I was so impressed with the places we went to and all the information that was given as well. I loved walking through the flower market and even folding the petals of a lotus flower. The driver was superb and I was so grateful to be in such good, safe hands. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful city highlights with me. It was unforgettable.
We loved our tour and and guide. She was fantastic. Due to Covid-19 we stayed away from crowded areas, but still feel like we saw much of the city and its beauty. Still hoping to receive the pictures that she took of our family~
We had a wonderful time on the city tour! Our guide Aey was very knowledgeable and very accommodating . She made sure everyone was comfortable and gave us ample time to appreciate the different places we visited. She truly made our stay in Bangkok unforgettable!
