I'm more like a reverse anthropologist: a local expert insider explaining and sharing Rothenburg's culture and history with my inquisitive customers. Its historic city center has been a listed UNESCO world heritage site since 1993. This makes Bamberg one of just twelve sites in Germany and one of the 400 sites worldwide that have been recognized in this manner.

Bamberg is located approx. 1-hour drive from Nuremberg in Upper Franconia. Its historic city center has been a listed UNESCO world heritage site since 1993. More than 2,000 UNESCO-listed buildings, winding lanes, and an abundance of medieval churches make this city a real Franconian jewel. My Bamberg tour will take you to all of the most interesting, historical sites within the historic city center. Some of the sites we’ll see are the Residence Geyerswörth, the Old City Hall, the Bamberg Cathedral, the Old Royal Residence, the New Residence, Michaelsberg Abbey, and a visit to Altenburg Castle. For lunch (not included in the tour price) we’ll have the opportunity to savor the Bamberger Onion and wash it down with some world-famous smoke beer. This tour is a leisurely, kid-friendly, walking tour where YOU set the pace.

- Children under 4 feet in height or younger than 12 years old must be in a car seat.
- Personal protection: I'll be wearing a mask while riding in my van.
- Personal protection: I recommend that everybody in your group wear either a KN95 or FFP2 (European version of KN95) mask while riding in my van, but it is your choice.
