Shane was such a knowledgeable guide. He added relevant info at just the right pace; he was great with our sons and keptbus moving despite 90-degree heat. He even brought water and snacks at my request because we’d just finished attending my father’s burial. Highly recommend!!!
Reed is an excellent tour guide. Our tour of Arlington National Cemetery was educational, interesting, and beautiful. I highly recommend this tour.
Tony was an excellent tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He made sure that we visited the most interesting locations in the National Cemetery and provided excellent commentary along the way. The Changing of the Guard was so moving and Tony made sure we arrived at the right time and had the best view. This private tour was well worth the money and my family would definitely recommend Tony as a guide.
This was an incredible experience. Derrick was the best guide. He’s so knowledgeable and he’s both a history buff and a history major. He brought many stories to the walk and showed us things I can’t imagine you get from a bus tour. He encouraged questions and our group was the wiser for it. Derrick is very personable and relatable. Can’t say enough blood things about Derrick and this tour.
Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the cemetery and stories behind so many great service men/women. He even gave us a great recommendation on where to stand to see the changing of the guards (at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier) so we could easily watch. It was a fantastic experience and highly recommend. There are bus tours you can take but I really felt this was more informative as we stopped and really enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the cemetery. I would highly recommend this tour to fully capture the history and significance of our fallen soldiers' resting place.
Liam was an amazing guide, he was VERY informative and knowledgeable about the entire cemetery and it’s history, we highly recommend this tour, as an aside we did the tour in a very wet rain and really enjoyed the whole experience, would recommend to others and would do agin ourselves, THANK YOU LIAM, very well done, Ken and Judy Price, Las Vegas, NV. 😎
We had a great experience on our tour with Jim. He told interesting stories that you likely won’t find in a tour guide or book. Thank you!
Our guide, Jim, clearly loves his subjects and deeply honours Arlington. He weaves intriguing facts into the history of many markers and monuments in a comfortable and personal narrative. Given his family connection to so many of the figures resting in Arlington, the guy is literally a walking museum. He was generous with his time and his stories, and our tour was one of the best of many we’ve had on our trip. A ‘best rating’ from us.
We followed the directions on our confirmation letter to wait by the Bugle Man in the visitor center and unfortunately, our tour guide was waiting outside. Our tour started 20 minutes late but it was not the fault of our tour guide. The tour itself was worth the wait and our family was guided through an interesting, personal tour of Arlington while our guide made sure we saw the Changing of the Guard and the JFK eternal flame. Our tour guide was related to the family who owned the land that was donated to Arlington and he had a personal experience with many of the well known people buried in Arlington. Our guide personalized the tour to our family. For example, he found Glenn Miller's grave knowing my husband is a music teacher. He also found other Pennsylvanians who were well known and are buried at Arlington Cemetery. Highly recommend this tour.
I would once again like to apologize for the mix up on meeting locations that lead to the delay. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I am glad Jim was able to give a tour great enough to slightly make up for the flustered start!
We had the best time on this tour. Our guide, Liam, was very knowledgeable and very animated. We were able to see all of the highlights😉
