The austere cathedral of Arezzo was created by the will of Pope Gregory X in 1276. The pontiff died in the city and left a sum for the construction of the work. The stained glass windows by Marcillat and the chapel of the Madonna del Conforto are exceptional.
The heart of Arezzo hosts the antiques fair and the Giostra del Saracino. Perfect place for a coffee or a delicious aperitif.

We were in vacation to Camucia - Cortona and on Saturdsy, June 29th were in Arezzo for visit the city. We took a City Tour car by Martinelli with Maurizio who was very polite, courteous and very helpful with details about our plan apart of explantion received during the city tour through ears caps. Thank you Maurizio and your lady collegue who has driven the car. 🙏
