Our guide cum driver will meet you at Kochi city and transfer to Aleppey houseboat boarding place. It takes almost 2hrs drive from Kochi to Aleppey boarding point. Check in Houseboat.
The below Houseboat backwater programme has been designed for those who like to visit best canals in and around Aleppey. Boarding houseboat from Aleppey Jetty at 1100hrs and houseboat make a trip through the best canals of Aleppey till 1330hrs. During this time, the boat will cover the best and beautiful canals in Aleppey.
This is one of the narrow canal located in the famous Kainakari village. Passing through the canal, you can see paddy fields, local villages, schools etc.

Kainakary is one of the best villages in Alleppey. this village promises the best view of backwaters.Post lunch trip start at 1415 hrs and it till 1700 hrs. Houseboat makes a trip through some of the beautiful villages in Alleppey called Kainakari Village Venattukadu etc. Kuttithod, R Block, C Block etc are other canals the boat will cover before finally ends at 1700 hrs
75 ft in width, this river is very famous as Kerala annual snake boat race regatta is being conducted in this river.
This is another canal of approx 75 ft in width. You can see many local home, temple and restaurants on the banks of this river. Houseboat Tips 1. Your houseboat trip inclusive of welcome drink, veg or non veg lunch and evening coffee/tea and snacks. 2. This is a private boat and not sharing. 3. In case you have allergic to any particular food, it should be notified well in advance. 4. Since it’s a short trip, you have NO option of visiting local sightseeing places by walking or walking through villages. 5. We do not recommend buying extra fish or any other items from the local market. In case you are fond of a particular extra food, we will be ready to help you. 6. This programme is possible only if the guest check in at 1100hrs. In case of delayed check in, covering all the canals and rivers as per the programme is not possible and extended time of cruise after 1730hrs is not possible and NO refund for the unused portion is available. 7. Paddy fields are available from Oct to Feb only. 8. Smoking in Houseboats is prohibited. 9. Liquor will not be provided by the service provider. But guest who wants to consume liquor can bring their items and can be used in the boat. For those who cannot bring their stuff, SreesTours provide the same in the boat in case ordered in advance with extra service charges. Check out from houseboat at 1700hrs and proceed back to Kochi. Drop at Kochi and tour ends.
Kuttamangalam canal is a very narrow canal and famous among tourists where many local villages, paddy fields etc are located. The canal is very narrow and one need a small open boat to see this. Since many villages and paddy fields located here, you can experience an unforgettable Aleppey village experience. We have included 1hr open boat canal cruise thorugh Kuttamangalam in this trip. You will be shifted to a cane with an expert guide. The cruise is for an hour. At the end come back to the houseboat.

The boat ride through the backwaters of Alleppey was calming and peaceful. Our car driver Anson was prompt for our pickup and dropoff. The houseboat staff were very courtious and attentive. Our lunch was also well prepared and to our taste.

We had a wonderful time on the backwaters. It really is true what they say, the minute you set out onto the water, you really feel the stress melt away. We had delicious, fresh lunch on board. Other than this, Sree tours was very helpful when organising a trip that covered the 'Nehru Trophy Boat Race'. They answered all my questions, and everything including accommodation. Would highly recommend to all! Thank you for your service :) My only recommendation for tourists attending the Nehru trophy boat race would be to prepare for 'noise pollution'. The whole area is very loud, some ear buds/noise cancelling headphones would make for a much more comfortable 5 hours at the race. (This has nothing to do with Sree tours - just an FYI!)
Nehru tropy event is a local cultrure and people from all walk of life come to this location. Yes, they sing, dance and give moral support to each and every racing boats, so the atmosphere is noicy and trilling. This excursion is pure luxury! Everything was excellently organized! A pleasant car ride through Kerala, in Allepey a beautiful, huge, 2-storey boat with 3(!) bedrooms, bathrooms and a viewing terrace with comfortable chairs. Then quiet gliding, first over a huge lake, then through canals, past villages and countryside. Switching to a smaller boat worked wonderfully. On our return to the big boat, a sensationally good and plentiful meal awaited us. Also the return journey very relaxing. We spent an extraordinary, glorious day.

The views are fantastic and the boat ride is very relaxing. It was. Try hot day but there’s AC inside and there’s a breeze when you go outside so it’s still pleasant. The rooms are nice. I think the price is a little high, at least during the time we went (Jan 1st)

Both my friend and I travelled to Guruvayur, Munnar, Thekkady, Allappey boat house and finally to Cochi. Srees Tours made all arrangements perfectly. Last Christmas (Dec 2022), I and my family took the Sree hourboats for a day trip to Kumarakom and Allepey back waters. The trip started on time. All the rooms were very neat and tidy. We chatted with the cooks while there were preparing lunch which was just awesome - fish curry, chicken and other vegeterian items tasted like home made food. My nieces spent a lot of time on the 2nd floor of the boat, which was open and loved it. The overall experience was phenomenal and I would highly recommend to others.
