Would rather give 0 stars.

My wife has severe plantar fasciitis. We thought that this was an automobile tour. When the tour guide walked up to us, we said where is the car? Needless to say, we did not take the tour even though they charged us for it anyway. There's no way she could've walked for three hours much less than 1 mile back to the cruise ship, which she had to...

Operator response

Allen, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your wife’s condition; we understand how painful plantar fasciitis can be and we certainly wouldn't have wanted her to be in any discomfort. However, we would like to clarify the situation from our side. In the tour description on the booking platform, it is explicitly stated that this is a walking tour and that transportation is not included. When the misunderstanding arose, our guide remained fully available to assist you. In an effort to help, he even offered to use the taxi service (which is included in our logistics for the climb to the Castle) to minimize walking as much as possible. Unfortunately, your decision was to cancel the experience entirely on the spot. Regarding the charge, our guides reserve their time exclusively for your booking, meaning they cannot accept other tours once you have reserved. Since the mistake regarding the tour type was not on our end, and the guide was present and ready to work, the cancellation policy applies. We strive to provide clear descriptions to avoid these situations and we regret that the information was overlooked in this instance. We wish your wife a speedy recovery

Perfect way to see Alicante

We had a wonderful half-day tour of the city with our guide, who was both very knowledgeable and quite passionate about every place we visited. We definitely appreciated taking the elevator up to the castle rather than walking the path, which would’ve been quite difficult for one member of our group. We saw both the old city and the new and felt this was a great way to get a taste of the city.

Great giude, great tour in Alicante

Her command of english was great. The personal insight about life in Alicante added greatly to the walking tour. Without her pointing out sights we would have overlooked them.
