⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Abu Simbel was one of the most powerful moments of our Egypt trip with Egypt Rest Tours We knew Abu Simbel would be special… but we honestly didn’t expect it to feel like this in real life. The journey started early in the morning, and to be honest, it felt a bit long at first. But traveling with Egypt Rest Tours made everything organized and easy, so we could just relax and enjoy the experience instead of worrying about the details. When we finally arrived, the first view of the temples was one of those moments where you don’t really react right away… you just stop and stand there in silence. The scale of the statues is something photos can’t really capture. Standing in front of them felt almost unreal. The whole place had a natural calmness, even with visitors around. We walked slowly toward the temple. The temperature changed immediately as we went inside, and everything felt quieter and more focused. The walls, the carvings, the details… you really feel the power and history of the place. What we really appreciated was that we never felt rushed. We had time to walk around, stop, look again, and just take everything in at our own pace. Our guide Mustafa from Egypt Rest Tours explained everything in a very simple way, nothing heavy or complicated. It made the experience much easier to connect with, instead of just listening to facts. What we loved most was how he connected Abu Simbel with other temples like Dendera, Hathor, and Abydos. That really sparked our curiosity because we’re genuinely interested in Egyptian history. My sister is married to an Egyptologist, so the whole trip naturally turned into a lot of conversations and connections between sites. My brother-in-law really enjoyed understanding these links through Mustafa’s explanations. There was a very lively discussion about Hathor in particular and how these temples relate to each other. It made the whole experience feel deeper and more meaningful for us, and it actually made us start thinking more seriously about visiting Dendera and Abydos in a future trip. On the way back, the car was very quiet. Everyone was just looking out the window, thinking about what we had just seen. Looking back now, Abu Simbel wasn’t just another stop on the itinerary — it became one of the highlights of our entire trip. Everything was well organized by Egypt Rest Tours, and that really made the day smoother and more enjoyable. If someone asks whether the long trip is worth it, the answer is simple: absolutely yes.
