Our 1st night we got to Experience the Sound & Light Show at the Karnak Temple with the best tour group called #GetEgyptVacation They picked us up from ship, which was not directly in the city, in a private air conditioned car. They got us there early and we had 1st choice of seating! This was our 1st glance at the massive temples that were built. It was unreal. This temple is most important because 9+ different Kings added to the temple. They added statues of themselves or anything they wanted to be remembered at this temple. This includes King Tut, Ramses II, Hatshepsut, & many many others making it a vast complex instead of a single temple. It took 2000 years & it started in 1630 BCE & final addition was made by the Romans.... After the show, our amazing guides, Mina and Amir, took us to a rooftop bar to celebrate our birthdays. It was a total surprise! They got us drinks...our 1st as it was dry in Cairo. We love them...we booked 2 more tours with them including our last day will be with them at the Red Sea..Hourghada!!!! If you're thinking of booking with Get Egypt Vacations, stop thinking and just book it. I have 2 more reviews to write about our amazing times with them. They went above and beyond our expectations.
