This is Stockholm´s most famous building, well known for hosting the Nobel Banquette every year in December. This is also the municipal political building of the city and has some of the most interesting architecture from the beginning of the former century. Most spectacular is probably the Golden Hall which is dressed with more than 18 million pieces of golden mosaic. Also from outside it is an impressive building with it´s 106 meter tall clocktower and beautiful garden by the lake Mälaren.

This is Swedens National theatre and was one of the most costly building to be constructed in it´s time. It was opened in 1908, built in Jugend Style and is a piece of art that really stads out from all other buildings in the city.
This island is often referred to as "the green island" or the museum island. This is probably the best high viewpoint in the city. From here you can see most of the city and the ports of many of the cruise ships, the island Djurgården and the roofs and steeples of several old churches. If you are going to take ONE picture of Stockholm, take it here !
This bridge from 1935 takes us from the Södermalm island to Kungholmen and it is more than 600 meters. Västerbron is the longest bridge of the city and has a great view to offer.

Despite an ugly, rainy day, our guide Thomas provided an exceptional tour of Stockholm. Highlight was Vasa Museum where he gave us a VIP treatment. Very knowledgeable in providing historical information. A+ experience!
How dare the king celebrate his 50th anniversary and 80th birthday when we were trying to see the city. Just kidding. Traffic was horrible but our guide did his best to get us to all of the important sites around all of the street closures. Lots of history and a very knowledgeable driver.
Thansk for your review ! I will let your guide Afram know. Ha ha, yes this was a special day for all of us, but I am sure our dear King and Queen enjoyed the day and beautiful weather (they said rain in the forecast..) Please visit us again soon !
We had a wonderful experience on our Stockholm tour with Hans as our guide. He was able to extend our original four‑hour tour to five hours before we began, giving us extra time to explore the Vasa Museum and enjoy a full guided tour of City Hall—an unforgettable highlight of the day. Hans provided engaging commentary throughout the tour and answered every question our group had with ease. His enthusiasm for sharing his city was evident from start to finish. We also appreciated that we never had to wait in lines, as Hans used guide‑access entrances to move us efficiently through each stop. Having Christian as our dedicated driver made the experience even smoother, allowing Hans to focus fully on guiding while keeping us safe on the road. The two of them worked seamlessly together, coordinating drop‑off and pick‑up points throughout the day so our group could simply relax and enjoy every moment. A fantastic tour from beginning to end! PS- Hope this posts correctly online, as the preview is not in a great format and I can't find how to fix it.
Thanks for this nice review, I will let Hans and Christian know about your fine words. We all hope you will come back soon! / Thomas
