First, the guide texted at 9:45 AM on the day of the tour, asking to pick us up at 11 because his driver was not available. When I said it was not possible, he said he would be there in time. He arrived at 10:15 and complained about my lack of flexibility. For the bulk of the trip he was on the phone and we soon found out that he booked another trip for 2pm, even though our tour was to be 4 hours long. All in all, we went about 1.5 hours, even though we paid for 4! When I tried to inquire about the itinerary and clarify what we wanted to hear about, he got especially defensive when I said we didn't want to shop after lunch. I suggest that you discuss your expectations with your guide before you arrive in the city, and if they are not receptive, cancel and ask for a different guide.

Furthermore, we are strictly enforcing our "no-pressure" policy; your request to skip shopping should have been respected immediately and without argument. I understand that these frustrations led you to conclude the excursion early. While the guide offered a partial refund directly on the spot for the unused time, which you chose to decline, I deeply regret that the morning's atmosphere made you feel the need to leave prematurely. An outstanding visit. Mohammed took my parents and me all around Tangier and provided us with a ton of outstanding information about the city. I especially appreciated Mohammed introducing us to his local friends, local food, and showing us non-touristy places off the beaten path that we would have otherwise seen. This was the best tour i’ve ever been to. Momo is so friendly and took me all the best spots to see in very little time. He very reliable, picked me up at my hotel on time and dropped me off. You can tell he’s very passionate about is country!
