Pauline, our guide was very knowledgeable and we felt safe driving in traffic. We appreciated the maps, pictures, and legends she shared.
In over 50 years of traveling Lydia has to be the best tour guide I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is extremely knowledgeable, concise, kind, thoughtful and considerate. The journey she takes you on through her land overflows with enthusiasm. She has so much to offer…..everyone who has the privilege of being guided by her will come away feeling like they have an in depth understanding of this beautiful land.
Lydia quickly got us away from the 'tourist' section of Papeete to show us the more picturesque sections of the city. She then drove around the coast where we could get out and spend time viewing the mountains and a magnificent waterfall. Along the way, she gave us insight into the history of the island. We highly recommend Lydia!
Superbly informative tour, outlining history, geography, geology and current economic/political/demographic realities of this beautiful place - - Tahiti. Well worth the price and a great way to decompress from many hours on planes and start adjusting to 6-time-zone change.
Lydia was prompt and knowledgeable with a spacious clean vehicle. Thank you for the memorable tour of Tahiti!
