We had a wonderful day. We learned a lot about Zadar. David was a fantastic tour guide . He took us to many historic sites.
We met our guide Dave in time and were taken straight to some sites overlooking the beautiful city of Zadar, learning about the modern time Homeland War and seeing the ancient history at the same time. Dave spoke immaculate English (as he was originally from the NYC, USA). Dave provided insights of the local history in a brilliantly unique way. In the afternoon we stopped at a beautiful beach bar, enjoyed a quiet sip by the water then toured the Old Town which was amazing. We were thoroughly impressed, in how much we got to see of Zadar in such a short time, how much we learnt and how attentive Dave was to our needs. No pressure, chilled, great tour. Anyone wanting a premium, custom, English-speaking tour of Zadar…. We would thoroughly recommend Dave’s tour!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Wonderful guide and accommodating. Very knowledgeable: spoke perfect English. Very patient and helpful
Excellent and knowledgeable. Extremely easy to have a conversation with and flexible on schedule recommendate highly !
Dave’s tour of Zadar was wonderful. He picked us up at the cruise ship dock, flexible on timing because we were unsure of our arrival time. Dave’s upbringing in both USA and Zadar was fascinating and his personal stories really added to the interest. He brought us through the countryside, showing bunkers and tanks from previous wars and through various parts of the city for incredible views of the coastline, Roman ruins and Byzantine churches, the sea organ and monument to the sun. He was so personable, very knowledgeable about the history and eager to answer any questions. He was extremely considerate about our needs during the tour, especially to one of our group with limited walking ability. Dave made it possible for him to enjoy the highlights of the tour. We had mentioned tasting a specific food (palacinka) of our family heritage - he dropped us at his favorite palacinka restaurant then picked us up to return to the ship. We highly recommend this tour, and if you come from the USA, please bring him the food he misses most - White Castle.
Our guide, Mike, was knowledgeable and helped to make our Zadar visit personal, unique, and memorable, and comfortable with an easy-going pace. His knowledge of Zadar history was impressive.
We were able to visit many places in Zadar in a very comfortable large van. The driver was friendly an informative, the tour guy communication skills was fine but it can be improve. He needs to speak loud when the whole group gather around him.
In my defense, the group was larger than usual since it was your group of 4, and then we upgraded to a VAN because your 4 friends also booked the same tour at the same time. So to keep you together during the trip we went in the 8 passenger van. Point taken though. Thanks again for booking with us.
Although Zadar is not as interesting as its larger city neighbours of Split & Dubrovnik, our guide Dave provided us with a great and very informative tour during our ship’s visit. Being born in the U.S. his English is perfect and with Zadar family roots, his knowledge of the area is wonderful.
David was on time and gave us a wonderful perspective and tour of Zadar. So much history for such a small town. He was extremely accommodating and gave us excellent lunch recommendations. He even went out if his way to come back to pick us up and drive us back to our port!!
Dave was very patient with my elderly parents which was very appreciative and adaptive to their mobility. Also very knowledgeable knowing he is from the area providing great restaurant options. Would highly recommend!
Hello and thanks for taking the time to write a review. The pleasure was all mine.
