Every experience is colored by the workers. This experience did not disappoint. The staff were all passionate about nature, plant life, and farming. Every explanation or answer to questions was thoughtful and obviously not rehearsed or memorized. Their excitement rubbed off on the group and we loved it. It really is not possible to describe the beauty of the gardens and the variety of vegetation we were introduced to while on this tour. Amazing really. Take the staff up on the offer of bug repellents (or bri g your own) because you will be deep in nature and that repellent will be an experience saver.
Fun and interesting for the whole family! The guides truly love what they are teaching about chocolate and the fauna on Kaua'i.
Aloha Jenny, Thrilled to learn the whole family had fun with us while learning about chocolate and fauna! Hopefully you all gained some valuable tools for future exploration into the expanding and intriguing world of cacao! We're hooked! A hui ho!
The property is absolutely stunning and the tour guides were so knowledgeable. They provided bug spray, clean bathrooms to use and walking sticks. The chocolate tasting was informative and of course delicious, as were the different fruits and honey you tasted along the tour. It really gave us such a unique way to appreciate plant life and our use of different plants.
Mahalo nui loa! We deeply appreciate hearing how you connected to the plants and learning about their abundant properties and uses. Thank you so much for visiting us and sharing your experience! A hui ho!
Fun to walk around and see plants from all over the world. Nice activity for a day trip. Really enjoyed the chocolate specifically from the garden and trying all kind of different fruits as we walked.
Aloha Kallie! Love hearing you especially enjoyed our chocolate, thanks for sharing and making the day trip to see us! A hui ho!
I went with my husband and family. It was very informative, the chocolate and fruits were delicious!! The gardens were beautiful!! The walk was somewhat challenging for me (I have a physical disability - stroke) but I would think for an able bodied individual it would be fairly easy.
Aloha! We are delighted you came to visit with the whole family and to hear how much you enjoyed the garden and the tastings. The garden terrain can definitely be challenging for anyone with mobility issues, we sincerely hope it didn't interfere with your overall enjoyment of time spent here. Thanks for your honest feedback. We hope you enjoyed your holiday on the beautiful garden isle. A hui ho!
Interesting, knowledgeable staff. Excellent variety of chocolate to taste from locations around the world.
Mahalo nui loa James! We appreciate your support and feedback. Thanks so much for being with us! A hui ho!
Great tour! Zoey was our guide. Very knowledgeable. Walked at a brisk pace. Most tours are too short, the 3 hours was just right. In addition to chocolate history, processing and tasting, there was also a little honey and coconut tasting too. A wonderful experience. A beautiful location. Very well organized, from the welcome and parking to the Goodbye.
Aloha Pete, Mahalo for the five-star strong recommendation! We appreciate you taking the time to visit us and for sharing your experience with us. We hope to see you on your next trip to Kauai! A hui ho!
