It was a pleasant experience but not up to the price paid. I would like to thank especially the very young tour guide Sofia for her sympathy and availability. The main disappointment concerns the organization of the tour. The food we were made to taste was great but the tasting began at five and a half in the afternoon and continued until eight in the evening. We spent almost three hours just tasting without seeing so many places in Tropea. For the price paid, my friend and I, expected much more information and a more in-depth sightseeing tour of the city.
This was a great Food Tour with Sofia as the guide. The food samples were all very different and represented local produce. Lots of food and a nice glass of white wine with the fish. Sofia is very knowledgeable and passionate about Tropea and Calabria region, explaining which shops have local artisan products. All in all a great way to send a few hours.
Antonio was a fantastic guide - very knowledgable. Food stops were good - especially the pizza! Had a lovely time - rrcommended
