Itinerary
You’ll sail to two of Aruba’s best snorkel stops with our experienced captain and crew. The first location is the famous shipwreck ‘Antilla’, where you’ll spend 45 minutes of exploring. The Antilla sank more than 60 years ago and remains completely intact. Legend says the ship is a 1939 German freighter likely carried supplies during WW2 and was caught in the Dutch waters following Germany’s invasion of Holland. Explore the 400 foot Antilla easily and safe with guidance of our experienced crew.
You’ll sail to two of Aruba’s best snorkel stops with our experienced captain and crew. The second stop of this charter are the shallow waters of Catalina Bay. You can spot angel fish, damsel fish, octopuses, sea fans and coral. New to snorkeling? Not a problem. Our captain and first made wil patiently work with you to make sure you have safe and enjoyable snorkel adventure.
Sail along Aruba’s beautiful coastline. The warm, clear, blue water of the Caribbean paired with hundreds of species of tropical fish and coral will be a feast for your eyes. If this sounds too good to be true, it’s not.

Awesome crew, great spots for snorkeling, awesome drinks, just the right size group for an awesome outing! These guys know how to make sure you have a great time.
Snorkeling was the most fun experience I’ve ever had in my life and this crew made it worth while ! Everyone was so friendly and made my friend and I feel extremely comfortable. If you go ask for a “happy,” the best drink ! It’ll definitely make you happy haha !
Had the best experience with our crew. The food provided was good. The drinks were delicious. The service from the crew was great. They were so friendly and patient with everyone.
Really fun experience and friendly staff. Had little bites like sandwiches, rolls, charcuterie skewers. Had open bar service and continued to provide us drinks throughout the experience ! Snorkeling was fun, saw the wrecked ship and second spot saw turtles !
We LOVED our morning sail, snorkeling, mimosas and Brunch on the Octopus Aruba! We were on an April 2026 Princess cruise and had a big group. Octopus Aruba arranged a transportation van (I believe it was around $100 extra, don’t remember the exact cost but was way worth it instead of trying to get 2 or 3 taxis). They met us and took us from the cruise terminal to the boat, which is located a few miles away from the cruise terminal at Pelican Pier on Palm Beach Aruba. We needed a morning sail as our cruise ship only had a short day at Aruba and we had to be onboard at 3pm, so we took the 9am Octopus Aruba sailing, which got us back at noon. Our morning sail included two snorkeling locations. While going and coming the excellent crew (captain, his grandson and I think the captain's daughter?) provided drinks and appetizers. Their service was top notch. The snorkeling was amazing! We visited the sunken wreck of The Antilla. It’s kinda deep for snorkeling, but still it was quite a sight to see a large ship covered in corals and surrounded by fish. Our next location was much closer to shore, where we saw 2 sea turtles and tons and tons of fish around the cliffs near the shore. That was some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done! Well worth the trip! This trip is best for people who want to experience snorkeling in Aruba, first class service, and very enjoyable food and drinks. The plastic Octopus Aruba glasses are yours to take if you like as a very nice souvenir. We didn’t take them, but I included a picture below. There are other pictures of the boat. If you want to see the full experience I recorded highlights with my GoPro. Just search YouTube for my ABC Islands Princess Cruises April 2026 Part 6 Aruba and you’ll see the entire trip. The only thing I might advise is this trip is best for people with good mobility. If you’ve had knee or hip surgery and struggle with ladders you might want to consider that. You have to jump into the water off the front of the boat, or use the ladder (it’s a vertical ladder on the side of the boat). Getting back onto the boat requires you go up the vertical ladder, you’ll see exactly how that looks in my video. Other than that, if you have decent mobility you’ll have no difficulty. Oh, the only other thing to be aware of is this might not be great for little children. We had a 4 year old and 2 year old, and after realizing the boat only has thin rope rails on the side we decided to leave them on the ship. That was a good choice as it might have been difficult to hold them and get them into and out of the water. So that’s my review, I LOVED Octopus Aruba and was very glad I went! Check out the video if you’d like more details. And if you decide to go I think you’ll be very happy with your decision.
Very friendly crew, entertaining. Made sure everyone was comfortable.. Drinks and appetizers were delicious.
Staff was great, it was a fun outing and would do it again! We added the resort pick up for an additional cost which made it even more convenient. Really enjoyed ourselves- a great group of guests
Thank you for your kind review! We’re glad to hear you had a fun outing and that the crew helped make the experience enjoyable for you. It’s great that the resort pickup added convenience and made everything easier for your day. We’re also happy you enjoyed the atmosphere onboard and the group of guests it really can make the experience even better. We truly appreciate you sailing with us and hope to welcome you back again the next time you’re in Aruba.
Brunch isn’t really Brunch but it is fun finger food that they pass around every little while along with giving everyone drinks. I personally put on sunscreen before going and it reacted with my eyes for the whole trip to where I was unable to open my eyes hardly at all. I did snorkel at the first stop but didn’t even try at the second stop which I would have loved to snorkel at because there were lots of turtles and some barracuda as well! Everyone seemed to love the second spot at Malmok Bay.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the fun atmosphere onboard, the drinks, and the finger foods, and that you were still able to snorkel at the first stop and see some marine life. We’re sorry to hear about the discomfort you experienced with your sunscreen during the trip that must have been very unpleasant and affected your ability to enjoy the second stop, especially with all the great marine life around Malmok Bay that day. We appreciate your honest feedback about the “brunch” description as well. Comments like yours help us better set expectations for future guests so they know exactly what to expect onboard. Thank you again for sailing with us, and we hope you’re still able to look back on parts of the experience fondly.
This was an enjoyable experience for myself and my family. The captain and crew were hospitable and attentive. The bites to eat and drink, were nice touches on this morning sail.
