After leaving from Siem Reap city center at 8am, the journey starts straight forward. Your first stop will be the awe-inspiring Preah Vihear temple, majestically perched atop a towering 700-meter high cliff. Prepare to be mesmerized by the stunning surroundings and immerse yourself in the beauty of this remarkable temple. For the thrill seekers and brave adventurers, a 4×4 ride awaits, adding an exhilarating experience to this incredible journey. Hold on tight as you ascend the hill, feeling the adrenaline rush through your veins. Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is not only a marvel of ancient architecture but also an emblem of Khmer cultural heritage. Built during the Khmer Empire in the 9th century, this temple boasts intricate carvings and breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. Explore the vast complex and discover the rich history and symbolism behind its structures. Don't miss the Gopuras (entrance pavilions) showcasing ornate carvings.
After two hours of exploration, prepare to be mesmerized as you descend the foothills and arrive at the awe-inspiring Koh Ker Temple, also known as the Pyramid temple. Here, you will discover a true testament to the ancient Khmer Empire. As you step foot in this remarkable site, be prepared to be amazed by its intricate carvings and captivatingly unique architecture. The ancient Khmer craftsmen left no stone unturned, adorning this temple with exquisite detail that has stood the test of time. Marvel at the precisely carved sandstone blocks, pieced together to create a magnificent pyramid-like structure. Unravel the secrets of Koh Ker as you roam through its corridors and courtyards. Located inside the Koh Ker Temple complex. This temple is one of the important worshiping temples among the Koh Ker group for local villages.
Surrounded by the jungle for over 1000 years old, this temple had ruined with half of the sanctum towever has fallen down. Visitors will see nice big Linga in relatively good condition. Once step into this temple, visitors would feel like they were going back in to the ancient time.
This is another most beautiful temple inside the Koh Ker complex. The temple was relatively destroyed, however the temple has been preserved and re-installed again. There are five towers that is literally called Prasat Pram which means five temples.

As for join-in tours, we are unable to provide an exact pickup time. The tour guide and driver will conveniently collect all our guests from 7:00 AM from your designated lodgings. Promptly after, the tour will commence without delay. While waiting, we kindly request your patience wait in the lobby area. We kindly urge you to be prepared and ready upon our arrival, as any unforeseen delay may inconveniently disrupt the schedule.

What a fantastic day in Koh Ker! I can only recommend Kingkong. What made the experience so special was the quality of its explanations. Kingkong knows his story at his fingertips – he really managed to make us imagine what this ancient capital was like. It wasn't just a visit, but a real immersion! Besides being super interesting, it is super well organized. The journey to Koh Ker can be a bit long, but everything was managed perfectly (transport, breaks, fresh water...). This was a great tour! Koh Ker is a really unique structure, especially for Southeast Asia, and while the Preah Vihear temple complex itself may not be quite as impressive as Koh Ker, Angkor Wat, or the Banteay Srei, its location high-up in the mountains is breathtaking and very different from the settings of the Khmer structures around Siem Reap. However, what made this tour truly 5 out of 5 stars was the guide, Ra, and the driver, Sreymon. They took incredibly good care of us during a long day of traveling from temple to temple, ensuring that we had a good, very affordable, lunch tried local delicacies. It’s because of their outstanding service that this was truly a special tour and one I would highly recommend to those interested in seeing something off the beaten path during their visit to Siem Reap!

We were of group of tree and had a wonderful tour with a professional tour guide John Long and a great driver Veng. The pick-up was punctual and everything went as smoothly as possible. We had enough time in each stop and got lots of information about the temples and also everyting else we wanted to know. The driving was smooth and we had nice stops with really clean restrooms and good cafe/restaurants. We highly recommend John Long as a tour guide and Mr. Veng as a driver.

Wonderful service. Highly recommended. Our guide Pip is very knowledgeable with history of the temples and help to take the best photos. Temples are older than Angkor Wat which makes them a must visit as part of your trip to Siem Reap. A long trip covering long distances but the temples in 2 different location makes it totally worthwhile as it is an immersion into history of Cambodia.

This is an amazing opportunity to see some less visited gems in Cambodia. There’a a fair bit of driving time, but it’s definitely worth it. The time flew by and our guide Ra was super knowledgeable. An amazing day!
