Lovely trip up and down river, not much of an audio guide, but main points mentioned, very good price for drinks on board.
Disappointing experience and waste of money The incorrect message in the confirmation email about where we were going resulted in we being in line for a long time just to find out we were going somewhere else. We therefore boarded as the last, and the only seats were in an empty, cold enclosure with toned windows, which in itself was a downturn, since the temperature outside was nice, and we had booked the trip at dawn so that we could see the city's light. Staff showed no interest in helping. Fortunately, a couple of good guests gave us the opportunity to take a few tables and sit together so we could sit outside with everyone else. The trip, which consisted of a short walk down the river, back again by the same route, a bit up the river and back again by the same route, took max 45 minutes, from we laid off the cage until we laid to again. Super uniform. Along the way, we could barely hear what the spoken voice said in the speakers, and often it was difficult to understand which buildings were referred to. And although I like classical music a lot, it was super unnecessary noise to have Smetanas Moldau and possibly other classical pieces in the speakers during the whole trip. Why? If we had come on board as the first and had got the best seats, then it was a loose trip and not worth the money.
There are two boarding locations; boarding for online tickets is from the Čech Bridge (Čechův most), the green one in the north. The boat has a smooth movement. For those who want to have a drink on board, the servers serve at the table. The language of the loudspeaker announcements is Czech, German, English.
Nice little boat ride on the Danube with view of the Charles Bridge and other historic sights.......
We decided to do a sightseeing boat tour when we seen them operating the river whilst we were on the Charles Bridge. We went with this company and they were very friendly and professional from start to finish. With great views to be had throughout the tour, it was a must do. With drinks and snacks available on board at very reasonable prices, it was a great way to pass an hour and give a different perspective to the city.
Wonderful nighttime experience. Nice to sit and have a drink with friends while enjoy, enjoying the view from the river..
It was a nice smooth ride, however, everyone stands in the way of taking pictures without you also getting up and moving about, thus being in others way. It was also very packed - I’m sure because it’s a decent price for a nice 50 minute break. It’s definitely worth the price to rest your feet and look at the buildings along the small stretch of the Vltava River it goes down and up. We went at night when it’s all lit up & I would highly recommend the evening for that reason. They take drink orders, but it takes a while to get them. They also sell blankets, mugs, & coins. If you want your group to go together and it’s more than 15 be sure you message them to add the tickets. We were on a separate boat from our group even though we all had the same pier on our purchase.
A pleasant evening cruise with great photo opportunities for photos of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. The trip is narrated with fun facts about what you can see. Table service for drinks provided to your seat.
The experience was amazing. The sights were beautiful although there was not much commentary from the boat’s captain
What an absolutely delightful experience on the 50 Minute River Experience. We arrived early as suggested, but on our trip there was plenty of space. We chose to sit inside, but the glass windows meant we had a totally unrestricted view and it was spectacular. We went under Charles Bridge and we were fortunate to have a photo of our group with the bridge in the background. The bar staff came around immediately the trip started and ensured we had drinks for the entire trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would have no hesitation in recommending it and we would do it again when we return to Prague.
