Prague Food and Beer Tasting Tour with Cafe Louvre

Description
On this small-group walking tour, you'll visit Prague's Old Town and New Town. You'll start inside a medieval monastery courtyard, where a charming local café sets the mood with marinated cheese and craft beer or homemade lemonade. From there, a family-run gingerbread bakery offers a taste of one of the city's oldest pastry traditions. You'll work through open-faced sandwiches at a Czech-Slovak deli, then pause at the elegant Art Nouveau Municipal House before picking up a warm pastry from one of Prague's best-loved bakeries. The finale is a storied institution where the svíčková (beef sirloin in a creamy root vegetable sauce with bread dumplings) has been the stuff of local legend for over a century. Enjoy eight food tastings, two drinks, and a small group of no more than 12 to keep it intimate.

Itinerary
Pass by the Convent of Saint Agnes of Bohemia, a 13th-century Gothic landmark, then glimpse the narrow alleys of Prague’s former Jewish Town, rich with centuries of history and hidden stories.
Settle into a café tucked inside the monastery grounds. Enjoy marinated cheese with fresh bread, and a craft beer or homemade lemonade to start. Old Prague doesn't get much more atmospheric than this.
An authentic family-run gingerbread store with its unique atmosphere and home-baked pastries, where you'll try a gingerbread pastry with walnuts and plum jam, a pastry with poppy-seeds, and a vanilla roll.
Stop by at this amazing bistro focused on Czech and Slovak mutual relations through... food! We will taste a classic Czech "open-faced" sandwiche with Pilsner beer or a classic Czechoslovakian, Kofola lemonade!
1000 years of architecture! See historical sites such as the Powder Tower dating back to the 15th century, Prague’s beautiful art-nouveau Municipal House, or the world’s first cubist building, House of the Black Madonna.
And it wouldn't be a proper Czech food tour without tasting the most popular pastry - koláč! Kolaches are world-known but we will take you to the Kolacherie bakery, with the best kolaches in town!
Pass by the Estates Theatre, famous for its close connection to Mozart, including the world premiere of Don Giovanni and several of the composer’s visits to Prague.
Visit one of Prague’s oldest and most iconic cafés, set in a beautiful Art Nouveau building, once frequented by famous intellectuals. Enjoy classic Czech dishes like svíčková, made with braised beef and bread dumplings, and goulash with dumplings, while sipping local craft lager beer, Moravian wine, or home-made lemonade. Finish with an apple strudel and custard dessert!
