We were really disappointed because we had been looking forward to this experience for a long time. Unfortunately, the meeting point information was very confusing. The booking page stated that the guide would be waiting by the Dancing House, but it also listed the address of a tram stop as the meeting point. We followed the instructions and went to the Dancing House, but the guide never showed up. We then received messages and found out that we were at the wrong location, despite following the information provided on the booking page. The guide later told us that we would receive a full refund, which we appreciate. At least the situation was resolved in the end, but we were genuinely excited about this experience and were really looking forward to it. We hope the meeting point instructions can be made much clearer so future guests don't have the same experience.
Difficult to rate when the tasting was cancelled at short notice. We unfortunately missed the email that was sent and therefore stood and waited for 30 minutes completely unnecessarily. A little sad as this was a gift for one of the company.
It’s hard to know where to meet the guide. But after a phone call we got it right. We meet att a pub/brewery on the corner called Benedict. Good variety on the beers some interesting history regarding check and some information regarding the different varieties of beer. I recommend this but I do recommend they specify better where to meet.
Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good reviews. We were the only two participants in the beer tasting. That’s not bad at first, but unfortunately it seemed like we got a “set out” variant because of that. Our guide was late at first and then led us to the very noisy (m.M.n. not really traditional) restaurant. We were served 8 beer tastings of 90cl and one schnapps. The beer tastings could have been ordered for 230 kroner without a guide in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we do not understand why we had to pay 40€ per person for this. In less than 40 minutes, the guide told us a few beer facts in bad English and seemed very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we were very unhappy, especially as it was a birthday present for my partner.
Dass Sie eine private Tour hatten, ist kein Nachteil, sondern ein Mehrwert. Der Preis bezieht sich nicht nur auf die Getränke, sondern auf Führung, Organisation und exklusive Durchführung.
It was great guide with knowledgeable and fun. The beers are not pints probably for the better, cause there’s eight of them.
Nice and knowledgeable guide who gave us an informative and interesting beer tasting. We booked this the last night of our trip but in retrospect we would have booked it already on arrival, because there were many interesting things you got to learn that you would like to try. Both tips on beers and food.
This was a great tour for both learning about the rich and long history of beer in the Czech Republic, and its relationships to nearby beer-making cultures (i.e., Germany) and the culture of making other spirits (vodka, wine) in the country and surrounding areas. Mike did a great job sharing his knowledge of beer and the country. The dinner was delicious and a true Czech experience. Plus, by that point in the tour, we were able to select and identify the Czech beers most aligned with our palette despite the differences in the brewing process between here and home. Thanks for the great evening!
Very good tour and good service. We enjoy very well with my wife.we try book next year with my family. Highly recommend. Thank you
The best beer in the world in an exceptional atmosphere. The team is fun and warm. Thank you and looking forward to coming back. See you soon.
This is the first beer tour I've been. I've always thought beers are all the same but I'm wrong - there are 13 types of beers! Quite entertaining and educative experience for me. I'm so impressed with the guide and the service. An amazing experience it was!
