Pottery is the Nepalese culture, the art of which goes back with the oldest being found with a recorded age of over 2,600 years old. These pots are used in everyday life, for storing, transporting water, and for decorative purposes. Made on a traditional potter's wheel, and enhanced with traditional Nepali designs. The first step is playing with the clay and forming into the shapes of tiny animals which will take you into the childhood memories. This is also the step to acquire knowledge about how to get the clay to the adequate wetness level for shaping and have lots of amusement and excitement. Moving to the pottery wheel, dive you into the highest level of excitement. finding the centre point on the wheel and forming the clay into the pots of different shape and sizes and making traditional design and patterns. The pottery master also shows oTher many designs and give you information about the history of pottery making. Join our pottery workshop and have an amazing experience!
