Explore Potsdam’s elegant city center, admire the charming Dutch Quarter, and see landmarks like Potsdam’s Brandenburg Gate. Stroll through the magnificent UNESCO-listed Sanssouci Gardens, filled with fountains, ornate flowerbeds, and grand palaces. Learn about the city’s rich history and architecture as you walk through its tree-lined avenues. Please note that this tour does not include entry to any buildings. It’s been a great experience joining this tour. Potsdam has a lot to offer. Our guide Ania is really helpful and nice. She knows well about the history and stories, and always give good tips.
Amazing tour! Our guide, Ania, was super passionate and a really great person! She explained everything perfectly and she was so passionate about everything, really a beautiful experience!
It was a great experience Ania B our guide was profesionnal and very friendly I would recommend 100%
A guide with a major in history would have been more instructive. The palace where the Potsdam Conference was held not included.
Wonderful way to spend the day, learned so much about German history, saw some beautiful architecture and interesting things, and got out of Berlin for a day. The guide had an encyclopedic knowledge and was so good at delivering the information. I would do it again, or book another tour from this operator. This one is a must do if you're spending a few days in Berlin and haven't been to Potsdam before.
It was a very pleasant tour. Beny our guide was very good at bringing the group to understand the hisorical background of the House of Hohenzollern the kings and their lineage. Made it quite interesting by relating to today's societal outlook. The walk and stops were well chosen and timed, we finished with the tour at the specified time of 1400. He helped those of us heading back with him to Berlin. Overall we enjoyed the tour.
Really enjoyed the experience yesterday. 45 minutes easy S Bahn ride to Potsdam to see a smaller, quieter place of the leaders’ Palaces of earlier times - mostly Frederick the Great. Our guide was our best so far. Full of information and stories. Pictures of rulers helping us understand who was who over what period prior to the World Wars, Why Berlin rather than Potsdam became the capital and lots lots more. All at a gentle pace, with a break for lunch. We supplemented the trip with a ticket to access the impressive Sanssouci Palace which gave you an insight into Frederick’s personal living arrangements. Free bus back to the station. A great day out. Would recommend.
Excellent day trip and a great way to get a quick history lesson and learn the city. I went alone so it was good to explore with a group.
We traveled to potsdam with Tobi who is very nice and knowledgable. We were able to to see all highlights of the city and visited hidden spots we would not able to find by ourselves. Highly recommended!
Padraic was an absolute pleasure to be with. He was an excellent tour guide. You can tell how passionate he is about his work as he explained everything comprehensively. We learned a lot about the history of Potsdam - generally, Germany. Book a tour if you plan to visit Potsdam - you’ll never regret it. Thanks, Padraic!
