Your day begins at 8:15 AM at the entrance of Parcheggio Achille Lauro in central Sorrento, where your driver will meet you and accompany you to the port. After check-in, you'll board a comfortable boat with a small group of fellow travelers — ready to explore the coast in style.
As you sail away, admire the colorful fishing village of Marina Grande, still rich with old-world charm.
Glide past the ancient Roman ruins near Bagni della Regina Giovanna.
Spot the hidden Mitigliano waterfall, cascading straight from the cliffs into the sea.
The boat will also pass by the wild and protected beauty of Baia di Ieranto, nestled within the Punta Campanella Marine Reserve.
Before reaching the Amalfi Coast, enjoy a refreshing swim near the mythical Li Galli Islands, once believed to be home to the sirens in Homer’s Odyssey. Dive into crystal-clear waters and take in the view of the untouched archipelago.
Continue cruising along the legendary Amalfi Coast, where every bend reveals postcard-worthy scenery. Pass by the charming villages of Nerano and Praiano.
Admire the dramatic Fiordo di Furore, one of Italy’s only fjords carved into the coastal cliffs.
Dock in Amalfi and enjoy free time to explore this historic maritime republic. Visit the grand cathedral, sample a local lemon granita, or simply wander the narrow alleys lined with artisan shops.
Next, stop in Positano, the most iconic town on the Amalfi Coast. Known for its colorful cliffside houses and vibrant beach scene, you’ll have time to explore boutiques, enjoy a gelato, or snap the perfect photo from one of the scenic terraces.
Throughout the day, you’ll be served a light lunch featuring a Caprese sandwich (mozzarella, tomato, basil, and EVOO), and a small sweet treat. Water and soft drinks are available throughout, and there’s time to relax between stops with views that never get old.
After a final toast and maybe one last swim, you’ll cruise back toward Sorrento, arriving in the late afternoon — sun-kissed, relaxed, and with unforgettable memories of the coast.

- At the end of the tour, the return will be to the port of Sorrento, a central and well-connected location. Do you need transportation back as well? It’s available on request as an optional service, which can be purchased when booking or at check-in.
- If you’re traveling with friends or family who booked separately, please let us know at the time of booking. Otherwise, we may not be able to assign you to the same boat.
- This is not a private tour. This tour will have a maximum of 12-14 travelers.

This was an AMAZING experience and the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed being able to relax on the water, and the stops at Positano and Amalfi were definitely long enough. NOTE: we were gone for 10.5 hours, not the 8 or 9 as advertised. Not a big deal, just don’t schedule anything for right after you are finished.
This is such a beautiful area! Highlights were any time were able to swim in the clear water. However, this tour really depends on the captain you get, and ours was just ok. For some reason our boat never went faster than when it first left the dock. Boats of all sizes were passing us, and our slow pace seemed to intensify feelings of motion sickness. One guest even decided not to get back on the boat in Amalfi and paid for a car back to Sorrento. Also, the original itinerary said we would have more time in both Amalfi and Positano, but due to our boat pace it was shortened. Despite this, I still think a boat tour is the best way to appreciate the coast! (Side note: we did a different boat tour led by the same local company and the crew was 10/10, so really just depends who you get.)
Great tour, exceptional guide (Rosie) and captain. Loved all the stops to swim. Views are spectacular. We enjoyed the tour on the boat over stopping at each city. The cities are super hot and crowded this time of year so the swimming was a welcomed activity. I highly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing day with Raffy and Rosy!! Highly recommend this tour! My family said it was one of our best tours of the trip! The pick up was a little nerve wracking but it all worked out!
Great crew, captain and beautiful Boat. Generous hosts and wonderful swimming in secluded special places. Amalfi coast is best viewed from the sea. Personally we would have preferred slightly less time ashore as the time on the boat and in the sea was so special. The towns were ok by comparison but that’s only our view. What a great day out. If you can’t afford this trip if you are coming to Sorrento, put the trip to Sorrento Off for a year and save for it. You won’t be disappointed!

From start to finish, this was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Italy. If you’re debating whether to book this excursion, stop thinking and do it. The boat was luxurious and comfortable, the scenery was breathtaking, and the entire day was perfectly organized. A huge thank you to Alex and Frank, who truly made this experience exceptional. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional while also keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. They shared interesting facts about the coastline, made sure everyone was comfortable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing day. Their passion for what they do really shines through. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters was unforgettable, and having time to explore both Positano and Amalfi at our own pace was the perfect balance of sightseeing and relaxation. The light lunch and refreshments on board were a great touch, and the entire experience felt seamless from beginning to end. This excursion offered incredible value for the money and created memories we’ll never forget. Thank you again, Alex and Frank, for your hospitality, kindness, and for making our day so special.
