We will start at our Historic Bike Shop in Old Town Portland before we embark on our foodie endeavor throughout the city!
From their humble but humming nerve center, they blend and dispatch exquisitely small batches of teas and herbal infusions to the four corners of the globe, while offering equally tempting elixirs to the occasional passerby.
The home of Potato Champion, Bottle Rocket, Perierra Creperie, Pyro Pizza, Chicken & Guns, El Brasero, BKK Pad Thai, and Tahrir Square. The famous cart pod has occupied the corner of Hawthorne Boulevard and SE 12th avenue since 2008. It is often referred to as one of the cart pods that pioneered the now iconic food cart culture in Portland, Oregon. It is also one of the pioneers of Portland’s late night food scene.

You must bike around this city! It’s a must for any trip to Portland. This store was Very friendly. Donovan and Charlotte helped us on the first day and gave us an amazing itinerary for the day. Show us exactly where they go how to get around the city what streets to take different attractions to see. And then Piers and Jay helped us the second time. Very welcome by and personal place! Very inviting and accepting. It was a smooth process and we had an amazing time biking around the city. Next time we are back in the city we will be back here because of our amazing experience with staff

Great way to enjoy Portland. Kevin was our guide. He was very friendly and made sure the pace was safe for all participants (most of us were 60+). Kevin pointed out Portland highlights and provided a brief history of the various sites that we passed or stopped at. Kevin also made many suggestions of other places to visit, things to do, restaurants to try in Portland. The bicycles were well maintained and easy to operate. We are definitely considering doing another bike tour with this company, especially if Kevin is the guide. Oh, almost forgot, the food was very tasty.
We had a wonderful bike ride with Kevin as our guide. Kevin was very knowledgeable, sharing Portland history, things to do, places to eat. He kept the pace workable for our group making sure that we had a safe ride. The bikes were well maintained and easy to operate and the food was very tasty. We would definitely consider doing more bike tours, especially if Kevin was the guide.

A group of 4 of us participated in the “Foodie Field Trip” bike tour last week. Donovan was our guide. My wife and I are from the area, and our friends were visiting from NYC. This tour and Donovan’s enthusiasm made me fall in love with Portland all over again! The weather was perfect and we experienced so many neighborhoods-Old Town, the Steel Bridge, the bikeways of inner SE, Laurelhurst, the Division area, and back along Tilikum Bridge. Donovan went above and beyond for our group and everyone else in the tour. He made sure we could all relax at each stop by bringing us the coffee and food we ordered at the different stops. He was a good leader and made sure everyone was safe and no one fell behind. This is a great activity for everyone, be you a townie or an out of towner. Our friends were so charmed by the beautiful homes and parks of Portland and this tour really cemented that. I highly recommend this store, this tour, and, especially, Donovan!
