Welcome to our starting point! Here in Pioneer Courthouse Square, known as Portland’s “Living Room,” your guide will greet you next to the Umbrella Man statue and introduce the city’s rich history, creative culture, and the plan for today’s culinary experience.
Begin your tasting journey with a crispy Japanese-inspired sandwich seasoned with savory miso. This stop perfectly represents Portland’s love for global flavors and local ingredients, blending tradition and innovation in every bite.

My husband and were lucky enough to take this tour on July 10 with Rebecca as our guide. She was phenomenal. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend, except one who knows so much about yummy food and this wonderful city. We were sad when the tour was over. Rebecca knows so much about food and the city; you will be thrilled if you have her as your guide. I loved everything she chose for us, and already returned two days later for one of the items and will definitely be eating all of the other items again. Secret Food Tours is a super fun way to spend a few hours.

Herb was a wonderful guide offering interesting information on Portland and food carts along the way. The food was awesome - there was a wide variety of dishes and everything was delicious. This was a perfect way to spend the afternoon. The serving sizes were ample so arrive hungry as you will finish VERY FULL. This a tour you don't want to miss.

The food was really good. Although, carb overload is a thing. I needed to nap after the walk and the carbs. LOL Isabel shared a lot of information about Portland. It was nice to taste some food from different cultures! I think the Tokyo Sando was the favorite in the group.
