Description
The beach and dune tour is designed to give customers a taste of our amazing Australian beaches, walking along and feeling the sand between their toes. This backdrop allows for amazing photos and our guides will give a brief commentary about the beach, and show you the local Pipis, and how to wiggle and find them. After our beach component, drive up into the dunes for an unlimited Sandboarding Adventure on the largest moving coastal sand mass in the Southern Hemisphere.

I had written it to you previously in my first comment. We will return there. Well, it is done. Today, May 31st, for Mother's Day. This noon, under a beautiful sun in Port en Bessin, we had reserved at the Moulerie. Not disappointed again with our lunch. We had mussels again; I chose the gorgonzola or camembert sauce, my husband chose the Normandy sauce with cream, mushrooms, and a hint of Calvados. A delight, even though it is true that the bouchot mussels are still slightly small, but they are French, and in a few weeks they will start to be bigger. The owner compensates with a quantity greater than normal, so you do not lose out. To finish, we had a very generous baba au rhum accompanied by a scoop of ice cream of your choice and a salted caramel sauce with whipped cream. I provide all these details to prove to you that this new couple who took over this establishment just over a month ago puts all their heart and passion for local cuisine into satisfying you. The setting is nice, the cleanliness impeccable (I even specify in the restrooms +++++) which is not always the case in some other restaurants we have visited. I wish this couple good luck as they give their all to warmly welcome you to their establishment.

This 'tour' was quite disappointing. You just drive along the beach for a kilometer or two. The guide gets out and you look around in the sand for Pipi's (shells). Afterwards you drive back the way you come and get dropped off at the sandboarding spot. Effectively you are just paying for a beach drive. I would save money and just do the sand boarding as a standalone experience. To call a beach drive an 'exploration of the sand dunes' is very much an overstatement.

This tour is intended to be a guided beach and dune experience, including a short drive along the beach, some local insight from the guide, and the stop at the sandboarding area. The ride on the 4WD bus was exciting and the sand dunes were so beautiful. The sand was soft and surprisingly cool even on a sunny day. The sand boarding activity is a wonderful experience not to be missed.

We had a great time on the beach digging for pipis and watching them dig back into the sand. And we had a blast sand boarding! It is easy and fun to go down. But it was a good workout to get back up! We really enjoyed this trip!

It was amazing. The weather was fantastic, the sand dunes are breath taking and whizzing down them made me feel like a child again. My face hurt from laughing so much!!!!
