Our first stop will be the Company Gardens where we will kick off our tastings with some traditional Mauritian sweet treats and learn some important history of the island.
We will take a bit of time to discover the flora, fauna & iconic Dodo bird native to Mauritius.
We take a look inside the second biggest Mosque of the Island before continuing our tasting journey.
We will explore this important district of Port Louis, tasting some Chinese sweet and savoury specialties.
We will enter the bustling Central Market of Port Louis to glimpse the amazing variety of fruit and veg available before refreshing our palette with a tasty Mauritian drink.

This is highly recommended. The guide was very experienced and knew a lot about the history of the city. It takes you past all the high lights we had thought of beforehand. Along the way he buys all kinds of goodies, sweet and savoury, so you can taste what Mauritius offers and the cultures that are established there. We enjoyed it despite the blood being hot.
We have done the tour with Adrien many times since we moved to Mauritius 12 years ago. We decided to take our Parisian friends who were visiting the island to discover Port Louis walking and tasting some of its delicacies. We had a lovely time, enjoyed the food and always learn something new about Mauritius thanks to Adrien. Merci et à la prochaine!
This was such a great experience for us. I had two young ones with me, 6 and 2 (in the stroller). Adrian was so helpful and ensured that they were both okay or needed to rest for a while along the way. We greatly enjoyed the experience, even the 6-year-old didn't complain about the walking. The city tour is manageable with a stroller. Thanks a lot for the day, Adrian :)
